Yeah about the Resonator...
It was mostly love at first sight, although my initial plan was for use with an MPC60; to finally get the lofi-yet-lively drum sound I crave; in addition to ominous synth sweeps and all purpose general toneshaping of samples wit dat 12bit grit

But with guitar and bass, and FUZZ...wow. It doesn't feel like it's even in the signal chain at all, when active and set
flat or peaky.
It doesn't hinder my precious touch sensitivity.
The way it dials in harmonics is scary. Like fearful I'm going to ruin my hearing, scary.
Alone, it sounds beautifully lush or grimy, burnt out and lofi (in the good way).
Stacked with other pedals,
especially the HP (which lacks tone controls) was a nasty (meaning nice) surprise. It's like the missing piece and a more/better knob box.
And when used to self-oscillate?

It's my new favorite (non rackmount) EQ
ever, and the circumstances of its acquisition...pure win/win winning.

I would rock either of these two boards in a heartbeat. So good.

I like how the two bottom knobs on the Pharaoh look like the painted on extreme eyebrows of a rockabilly chick....
Also checking out your band right now, cool stuff!

:tips hat:
2014 is a new year, we'll have to wait & see what can happen in the future.
Words fail me, in expressing how blown my mind is from their outstanding sound and the fact they're all paid for. Only the CCv3 and G24 were obtained direct from manufacturers; even-traded Ryan a Malekko E600B & straight up paid Scott (twice, I also have a v2!). The HP, Telenordia, EHX, AC10 and Ae loop were purchased secondhand. The Resonator, RRR, '69 were trades. About $1600 out of pocket, sans time invested.
The diversity of this setup appeals to me on so many levels, causing excitement when I look down and see gear from all over the globe, in different types of enclosures, with
all mostly different led colors, knobs, and variety of sounds whether solo or stacked. The amount of research, trial & error and legwork in putting this together has proven to be a worthwhile investment in myself, as I no longer hate anything about the results I get. Even my *sorta playing* noobstyle. I'm going to record some decent music with this setup, I can feel it percolating.
Come a long way from where I was just over 2 years ago:

Only the Tube King was obtained new, but all the pedals were trades.
That old speaker & reel2reel were separate curbside finds on trash days. About $450 in this setup, sans time.

My first
piece of plywood with velcro stuck to it pedalboard post, here we gooooooo
[modified Jag] -> MF Drive -> Philosopher King -> Superego -> Whammy V -> BSY600 -> Pitchfactor -> FZ-2 -> Xerograph Deluxe -> Microsynth -> Semaphore TT -> Timebender -> RV-7 -> JamMan Solo XT -> [Peavey Classic 50].
All powered by two V-10's.
The EP-3 can be used with 7 of dem boxes, right now it's hooked to the trem. I put the Superego and BSY early in the chain because I treat them as signal sources, the BSY coming after the Whammy so I can feed it octave-down'd stuff.
One of my new years' resolutions is a gear buying freeze. I sure hope this stuff will keep me happy for a while. If not, I may have serious issues

Sorry for the poor quality image. I sharpened it to compensate for the shite camera.
Korg Pitchblack --> Kinnatone-modded CS-3 Compressor with Wampler-esque mods --> MXR Blue Box --> VS Jekyll & Hyde --> Ibanez LA Metal modded to vintage RAT specs --> DOD FX40B Equalilzer --> Kinnatone 3-loop switcher --> EHX Small Clone --> MXR Phase 90 --> Boss Phase Shifter --> Morley Pro Series II Wah/Volume/Distortion --> Way Huge Aqua Puss
All powered by a BBE Supa Charger. One of the outputs is daisy chained in order for all effects to be accommodated. Loop A contains the RAT, J&H and EQ. Loop 2 contains all modulation except for the delay, and the wah.
Scored a Boss FZ-2 on Craigslist for $85 the other day, so that'll be on the board within the week.
