Sure, I plan on using it as an album cover some day ;)

Did an unintentional back-flip off the top of a stryker when I was working on the gun system at the NTC in the cali desert. managed to land fairly flat, just happend to have a nice rock right where my kneecap was. Was not even my truck, my shit worked, I was being helpful with someone elses fuck up. That'll learn me

One man's substance is another man's tripe, Mr. Opinionated. Your favorite band sucks.

Works for me. That's why it's an opinion. All are opinions here. Doesn't make a difference. just sharing like everyone else.

Thanks man. I'm teaching about lower extremity injuries at a high school student conference next weekend and this will be very useful.

Coincidentally, I'm currently working with a patient who had a very similar injury. How long did/has it taken you to get back full range of motion?

AxJohn is a fuckin warrior, yo- you've seen his rig right? You've seen the Xrays- dude walks with a cane and still gets up front and takes no shit at every goddamn show he goes to- and he goes to a lot more than I do. So... he says "How do I make my DOOM more bleak, heavier, more punishing? I Shall have my jam room upstairs- up as narrow a stairway as exists in my residence! I mock the gods!!!!" I think there's only one stairway in John's house, but that's beside the point fuckers.

I'm a pretty big fuckup, on a general level- Ax and all you other fuckers in focused pursuit of deafening volume/toanz inspire me to keep doing the only thing I love, even when I hate it. So, thanks.

It's been a few years and while I have full range of motion, I do not have pain free motion and the knee is not stable. It took about a year of intense therapy to get that motion back. I did the electroshock stuff as well as just getting strapped to a bench and pushing on it to tear the scar tissue. Lots of stregth building and balance exercises. Not pleasant. At the time I was hoping for full recovery but that aint happening. All that got me was a lower rating from the VA cause "you can bend it".... Fuckers. The cane is for when it suddenly decides to not be where it is supposed to be and weight bearing becomes a sudden problem.

Mike- right back at ya man. Wish I could get as crazy as you do while performing but I think i'd fall off the stage! And Micah..... How the fuck does he do that to himself? Jesus, that dudes intense! I'm pretty sure he knocked the wind out of himself at the Jive and he popped right back up and kept the pipes on full like nothing happened.

well, it's tough when you gotta keep the vocals in mind while trying to rock the fuck out on the gitfiddle. I always hated that in my other band. Now, after every show, I think, 'goddamn, I probly looked like an asshole- a fat sweaty asshole old enough to be the dad of nearly everyone in attendance.....' but I can't help it - and if the band ain't feelin' it, why should anyone else? Micah's a freak for sure- glad he's on my side, y'know? I'll probly be bbqing in Tacotown tomorrow night, i'll text ya if you're gonna be around

Sounds rad! and yeah, I'm kinda looking forward to not singing with band number 2. Don't stop being a crazy fat sweaty asshole, it's working for ya  Glad I skipped Floor for you guys last week. I made the right choice.

Mutual inspiration is what makes this place great.
That and a shared insanity and propensity to step well outside the norm in search of ultimate POWER!

Seriously though when I found you nutjobs in the HCFX forum and spent 3 months reading the whole damn thread, I learned more than I ever had anywhere else doing anything ever. Is it useful knowledge? depends on your perspective but it's definitely kept me going through some hard times.

ok, bring on the bears now

Wrong. Why bother fucking up some awesome tones with something as lame as a chord progression?
