Love for the TR 707. I have one of those! It's completely retarded (like me) but it does sound awesome and I love it.
I would never purchase an MC 202 but two of my favorite albums were made with just that machine. What a special synth.

Yes. And the fact I already have enough gear (in my mind). It's a wonderful machine though and I treat it like a cow in India.

juno106 was the first synth i ever bought. only worked for about 30 mins and then some of the voice chips started crapping out on me
it was a glorious 30 minutes tho.

That is the most common problem with the 106. Some people think it has to do with temp.
There are some decent voice chip clones now that are supposedly more reliable.

I heard the "sealed" voice chips are prone to humidity after lots o years. IIRC the solution is to peel or scrape off the sealing and let it dry (silica gel can be helpful, I think). After that procedure such a voice chip can be intact again. No guarantee, folks!

That's how I felt about the minibrute. I loved it. I still do in theory...but I never got one that worked. this was back when they came out so I've heard they have improved their quality control.

the biggest difference being that the juno 106 is like 30 years old and arturia is fucking up a synth that's younger than the average age of the children sired by all ilf male members.

Yeah...after the second one failed I figured it just was not meant to be so I bought something else.

i think just on the Synth E2 you can load either? which. yeah. THANKS KORG. SHOWS YOU COULD TOTES HAVE ALL THE WAVEFORMS AND FILTERS ON BOTH.
but i'm mostly looking to dump all the drum hits i adore from Kontact and Maschine into here then have a portable little Bedroom/Music Room/Travel Buddy workstation.
lol. i'm the opposite. i had an EMX1 forever, just couldna get into it. loved the workflow and how comfy i was with the og EM1.

Whooo, bendy's back!!
As far as the juno-106 goes, mostly working. I got impatient so I hacked together a power cable by sawing a modern IEC to fit the old two prong IEC. I'm going to replace two of the slide potentiometers and voice chip 6 is wonky. It makes fun screeches currently.
Now I wait for my parts to arrive. Until then, I can play with 5 note polyphony on poly mode 2.
