hi

I do not play any instrument, at least not well. I am 19 and go to college just to do something.
I am a friend of Htsamurai (who btw has an awesome avatar!) and he told me to sign up here!
maybe ill post a few things here and there, maybe, hopefully, idk.

Well I'd say it's time to start!!! Welcome to the forum. It's usually pretty laid back here, everyone's really cool.

Thanks to Mr Bassus Sanguinis I just got myself a Synth Mangler and fell totally in love with it.

i used to have a synth mangler....its quite the beast isnt it? lol
i miss it

Thanks!
Yes, SM is the beast! It makes a disservice to my day job since our rehearsal place is on the same building I work so I´ve spent quite many "working hours" just fuzzing around..

OH HAI
i'm Evan.
I'm 21 years old
I live and work and play in Philadelphia PA.
I listen to everything you can think of, but i've really got a soft spot for Shoegaze, 60's psych pop, Noisepop, Motown and Stoner Metal.
I spend my time playing music.
Airports. - Spacey/energetic keyboard based indie pop
In Grenada - Indie Rock A LA arcade fire (i get to play an electric mandolin through loads of fuzz and delay! WOOO)
Dangerous Ponies - Sunshine & Rainbows pop
my other projects are
Hide & Seek - My long standing 11-piece Highschool twee p!o!p! groooop
All Indian Girls Go To Heaven - Awkward Poetry + Wierd Tunings + 3 guitarists playing like the Kinsella brothers = alot of fun
If you see any of those bands around, i'm sure you'll see me strumming a guitar or slamming a keyboard. Or A Trombone. Or A Clarinet. Or perhaps a bass.
Sometimes i make alot of noise.
Let me know if you wanna jam. I'm always up for it. <3

Be Jealous not of me, but of this band. They're the inspiration behind it all! (well the kinsella brothers and chicago circa '98 too)
http://www.myspace.com/algernoncadwalladerthe singer sounds exactly like Tim Kinsella. The guitars are even better. What a great band.

Hello, Around a year ago I got back into guitars after a few years mostly off. Have been playing on and off for 27 years. Got bored with it and focused on other instruments. I have been using some Metasonix stuff which really got me excited about guitars again. Within the last year I discovered Devi Ever, Dwarfcraft, Malekko. More excitement!
I make noisy music. Have been doing a lot with modular synths and other synths. Now adding lots of guitar too.
I love noisy stuff. Played in many bands over the years, guitar, bass, synths, harp (as in harmonicas, not the fancy strinng thing), and clarinet, once live, never having touched one before in my life. I lied, I told them I knew how to play. My friend played sax at the same show, never having touched one before in his life. He lied, he told them he knew how to play.

The band thought it was funny. They didn't get mad. They were surprised, when they heard us though, on stage, in front of people.
It's really nice that there are people / companies making such interesting effects that it makes guitar fun again.

Hi,
Total noob here. It all started with an MXR blue-box pedal. That was the beginning of the end for me. Now I can't stop.
Thanks to devi and all the pedal-smiths out there. Truly an artform!

Hey I'm uh.. Phil
I had been ghosting for a while but I got deleted during that recent server purge.
I play the guitar and some tenor sax through lots of pedals and that's about it.

Hey, I'm Matt. 19 and living in Cleveland. I dig music... anything really. Oh, and I have an obsessive compulsion for learning anything and everything that can make sound in some way or another.
