The Bug put out some rarities last bandcamp day, and there's some killer stuff in there: https://thebugmusic.bandcamp.com/track/ ... ddy-freddy
There's a whole version collection in there but I haven't checked it out yet.
Random notes I'm not sure I shared in this thread: saw Lee Perry last year and his bassist had... a Markbass head. still excellent dub tone. World=Shattered.

Wouldn't expect anything less.
Also, uploaded yesterday, though not dub (& not even really that great of a set), some fine and enjoyable dancehall:
So far so good!
12 minutes of toasting over Diseases? Yes Please. And then a suuuuper young Beenie Man, too. I am digging.
For the people who don't know, this is the first track:

And of course, this track was the basis for Sublime's track "Greatest Hits"
Also looks like someone put up a mix of all of Al's Cisneros's 7" from seven or eight years ago. I gotta dig out my copy of Dismas and play it on a proper stereo now that I have one.

Massagana, Striker
I am remembering very well via the conveyance of this most excellent form of remembrance

Here is a bit of total shameless self promotion..
This song started out as an instrumental dub jam we did for years as a filler piece and then one day Carole came up with lyrics and rearranged the whole song into this.. The original feel was straight up reggae... but... it ended up getting this odd Tom Waits/steampunk feel to the bass and drums for some reason.. just sort of happened
(lol, had something else running in the background that I thought had finished when I started listening to this and then it rolled into, well, a dubby echo guitar solo )
