DUDE. My grandmother grew up in Austria and would ship us over Sacher from the hotel.... one of the best things I ever ate.

The world is small... :)

Btw, I'll tell you guys a secret, that only real Austrians know of: The Sacher Torte tastes like poop. Dry and lifeless, made just for tourists who don't know what's good. Go to any other cafe and order one and you will always get a fresh and better one (for half the price) :)

Haha I love it you guys, sweets are so cool! I'd love to spend some time in your countries hanging out at these sweet shops trying the local goodies... that's the kind of holiday I dream about, touring the world for regional goodies.

I tried to get my Elements to sound like all of my other dirt boxes.

Volume is almost always to taste. Treble will depend on your amp settings, since the settings for all of these are based on the tone adjustments made on the original pedals to accommodate my rather bright AC30.

Just got an Elements for Christmas, seriously I've waited too long before buying one. This is the end of all dirt. Thinking seriously of buying a second one and have a dual elements dirt section on my board.
Thanks Ryan to give the elements to us! :D

I used the elements as a bass preamp at 12v on this...I think it turned out nice. Will update with settings.

so i will be getting one used hopefully soon :!!!:

i need versatility and something that can be tweaked according to my taste... something that can handle a lot of toanz

i guess i couldn't choose anything better for that, right? :D

my taste includes dense almost sludge toanz, agressive hardcore stuff (ETID!) but also dynamic distortion that let's my guitar scream and spank, good amount of palmmuting, a lot of harmonics, something good for lead and rhythm... it doesn't always have to be very high gain - especially if it stacks well :)

so Elements, right? :)

Came up with this setting last night. It matches my Kingsley Minstrel with a neutral EQ and the gain dimed. Makes for a great modern rock sound.

Vol: Taste
Mix: 5:00

Bass: 1:00

I'm still searching for some nice etid settings, but there are so many great sounds in there... Btw I use one of the medium gain settings from here for some nice rock tones and stack with a whiteface rat for the metalz. The elements stacks great with other dirt pedals!

Basically just got it, tested on bedroom volumes and tonight it's gonna get gigged for the first time

i'm still experimenting with settings, but i found an awesome sound in ther first five minutes and i'm sticking with it :D higain mode with gain on half seems like the right amount of distortion for me

btw since i properly grounded my jazzmaster, the noise has been pretty much well tolerable... i mean... they're single coils, what can you do :) i'll see what happens at the show tonight and how the band likes it and i might send the settings then

oh AND... i found that the hum very much depends on the Mids knob
