I mean, it does have that vagueness that's a part of it, esp. in bad horoscopes. But sometimes it feels useful. If nothing else, it's funny to look at it w/r/t my dating habits or social habits, because interesting, unintentional patterns emerge. And maybe those patterns are ultimately meaningless, but they're fun if nothing else. Otherwise, a Capricorn would say that...

Not to be a sciencey jerk but all that astrology crap kind of pisses me off. I've been studying behavioural neuroscience for like 5 years and astrology is pretty much being like "oh all that carefully designed and performed research is meaningless because stars and the moon and planets mannn." And everytime I complain about superstitious nonsense people are all like let people believe in what they want it doesn't affect you. Except that it does because I have to live on this planet with millions of religious people that would go out of there way to, not necessarily harm me, but definitely inconvenience me. And then the stupid ideas become part of cultural norms so even non religious people will act shitty and now I realize I'm complaining about trans discrimination. woops. sorry I don't have any friends anymore so its nice to vent somewhere. Also my cat ruined my glasses so thats great, I guess vision isn't that important to me anymore.
edit: tl;dr people believe in dumb things and generally suck

just reread your full post. Let me rephrase. Uh, some people have rightful beef with science, and it makes sense for them to react to it how they want. In the scheme of things, i don't think some weirdos believing that astrology has an effect on us i early as bad as... well really anything else. Especially bc a lot of astrology amounts to just kind of pattern observation. A lot of people question what they're doing with their lives when they get to their late 20s, so Saturn Returns could just be that, but it's sometimes a fun or interesting way of investigating those patterns.
