The guy actually seemed reasonable for a moment after I filed a PayPal claim and contacted me via Reverb private messaging to offer to fulfill my order. Like a total rube, I decided to give the guy a chance and cancelled the PayPal claim.

As of today, he seems to think I already got a refund, and we are back to square one. The Reverb staffer I chatted with earlier this afternoon deferred me to a resolution team member who won't be back in the office until after Labor Day. PayPal may also be a lost cause at this point, though a dispute in appeal status still appears to be open.

This has been the most fucking frustrating transaction I have ever experienced online.
Rule #1 for a PayPal dispute: Never cancel a PayPal dispute just because the guy said he'd get his shit together.
Either he'll build the pedal, ship and provide proof thus ending the dispute or you'll get your money back and be able to find a reputable builder.

I lost all hope in trusting anyone that had to be forced to do something through a PayPal dispute after dealing with all the shit involved with my last job (boss was a total moron and conman all at the same time).

In other news, I got stung by a wasp today.
Out of nowhere.
The bastard just suddenly decided it was time to add to the list of shit I've been dealing with.
I've now made it my mission in life to brutally murder every single wasp I come across with swift vengeance.

Wasps are the worst. Why do they have spikes coming out of there butts. Evolution, you're drunk. I feel your pain though this year there was a hornet infestation somewhere around my house so outside was an exercise in stress and anxiety. As if I don't have enough of that already.

On the other hand the new digs are pretty rad and it came with a piano. Life could be worse.

I've always wondered with that gif (I haven't seen the film) does he finish up in the alley way there, or does he just stop in disappointment?

My coworkers regularly turn off the num lock, turn the volume on the TVs all the way down rather than using the mute button, and open a sleeve of cups on the open side.

How do these people even remember to breathe?
