Damn Skully, that is awesome stuff... is this setup for a new project or...?
Thing I love about multi_s stuff is that the controls always seem simple, but they are sooo powerful.
His boxes are capable of crazy sometimes unpredictable shit with just a bit of tweak.
One question: where is the Dirge on that board?!
Thanks dude! And really it was so inspiring that something new will probably come of it. I was just screwing around last night but I had so much fun that I want to do something with it. I just need to put a looper at the end and I'd be set.
And the multi_s stuff IS great. Like you said. Simple, but complex. SO many sounds.
And I know there isn't any Dirge on there... BUT if it makes you feel any better I did mod the Moodysounds Echo and put the photo eye on a footswitch instead of the normal toggle switch!!
I still want to make my own expression foot pedal one day, with the foot sweep instead of a knob

Skully that sounded ridiculously good. True story: my two year old son got angry when the video ended and wanted me to play it over. Twice.
He didn't like the digital distortion stuff at the end though, so if you can just go ahead and not do that next time that'd be great, mkay?

There are certain ideas where the instant you hear about them you know they just broke through a level of amazing. A good volume pedal would be a must though so you can ride those dynamics. I just got a gift certificate for an hour in one of those isolation tanks...I want speakers in my tank pumping this thing being played through it in there.
Yeah volume pedal is a must. I frequently had my hand on the mic gain because it was super easy to feedback or get out of control. But at the same time, it's not necissary to simply "gong" a gong to get the slow rise sound. If you lightly tap it with a gong mallet but repeatedly really fast, you get the same effect. It gets to you hardly even hear the individual taps. The low rising rumble one minute in my mp3 is exactly that.
I'm thinking I want to attach a speaker driver to one end, and drive sounds through it, kind of like plate reverb.

Supid mobile upload app. Either cuts my videos short or makes those weird digital distortion noises. Buhhh. Thanks man

Glad your son liked it too!

adventures in octave fuzz
a little old fuzz, a little new fuzz...scratch that, all old fuzz being treated to the Conn Multi-Vider octave pedal.
analogman king of tone > Conn Multi-Vider > Creepy FIngers Fz-1a > Jimmy Behan Selmer Buzz Tone > Malekko Assmaster > Ramshead v2 bmp > v3 bmp > Kay Fuzz Tone > EaR ad4096
one thing that worked out great was the adjacent pedals stacked really well for further exploration
