My shop/work has ants.
On the bright side, they're sugar ants so they don't try to kill me but they're still annoying and all over the workbenches.
On the other bright side, I just learned that window cleaner instantly kills ants.
On the bright-but-not-so-bright side, I'm moving my shop out of this building and into my house for various reasons.

Failed a random drug test at work today.
Piss-cup-lady:
"Hmm so do you see these two lines on the test strip?"
Me:
"Does that mean I'm pregnant?"
Turns out I don't lose my job, just have to take another test and pass it at some point. Looks like I get to quit smoking pot again for awhile. Life is stupid.

So selling your house is a nightmare. Doing it when you have two little kids and a dog is insanity-inducing. We have had forty showings in thirty-five days, which means the house has been spotless despite the aforementioned kids...who are, of course, doing nothing to deserve any of this.
Considering just pulling it from the market and making the long-ass commute until springtime. Costs me three hours a day; could save my wife and kids a lot of grief. Already dropped the price twice, too.
Tl;dr: only buy a home once in your life.

Make sure they do not test you within three months of stopping.
THC is lipid soluble and can stay in the body for up to that long, which means you can fail even if you're legit.
You probably knew that but it's not fair to you if they say "let's go again" next week like its gonna be all sweet.
People are stupid and don't know how drugs work.
Do you need to be clean to do your job?

Blow is out of your system in less than a week.
I, uh, spent some time involved in the defense side of military justice.

I can imagine. I was a buyer about three years ago and I'm in no rush to go through that again, but it seemed like so much more work from the other side. I figure I have another six or seven years before I have to worry about finding a better public school system. Best of luck with the sale.

Yeah most stuff breaks down fairly quickly. Water soluble.
It's tougher when the substance gets stored in fat.
The test for chronic alcoholism is interesting.
I hate real estate agents.

I plead the 5th.
We mostly saw weed and a
lot of nonprescription painkiller use. The more interesting/exotic stuff was/is tested at random, so there wasn't much LSD or the like. Every once in a while we got an, "I'm injured and can't go on maneuvers, but here are some recent facebook pictures of myself skiing."
I mean, FFS.
Not the best two years of my stint with the man.

Lol yeah I've been meaning to get in better shape. I'll be getting a note in the mail that tells me what happens next. I hear I have to take another test but not sure on the time line. If I fail the next one I get to take drug counciling courses to keep my job
"I renounce the dank nugs, please help me learn to overcome the devil's lettuce". I'll be moving and looking for a new job at the end of the year so sobriety was looming anyway, this is just sooner than I'd hoped.

Fitness: TL;DR.
Dropping weight is just calories ingested versus calories burned. Your body will break down muscle before it breaks down fat if you don't do anything, but exercise and protein triggers your body to rebuild muscle and counters this. Cardio burns more calories; high weight w/ fewer reps (three sets of 10 to 12, with the last set very difficult to complete) builds size; lower weight with higher reps will build strength with less size. Canned tuna in water is basically free protein (versus calories), and isn't very expensive.
Everyone is different, and YMMV, but this is what works for me.

Nobody will ever get down to 0% body fat so even if you've got a little it can still take up to three months to leave your system depending on your biology.
Just a public service announcement.
If your available options for substance counselling come from a "higher power" model then all I can do is

Yeah, anything below, like, 8% for men gets dangerously unhealthy, and that number is higher for women because biology.

That stay in school one is so good. I do get to keep working while I deal with this so it's really just an inconvenience. I just thought it made for a funny story. After my wife finishes her nursing degree in a few months it'll be my turn to go back to college. Not sure what I should study this time. I've done schooling to get a job a few times now and ended up hating both fields but still getting to pay the loans off. I should make a poll on here: vote for gnomethrone's next dumb career.

The pregnancy test response was all aces, as far as I'm concerned, and I'm glad to hear you can keep working while it's resolved. My undergrad was lit & crit, so hit me up if you want to talk about bad choices.
