Best way to deal with both fallen soldiers is to make it hot beer imo: https://tomwebster25.wordpress.com/2010 ... utterbeer/

Kinda good news...just got word from his friend...his dad was notified by the hospital that his been admitted by the police. We don't know in what state or why he was picked up, hopefully nothing harmful to anyone...but his now in hospital...where they'll start treatment. Last time this happened I'm told he was in hospital for about 5 months trying to bring him back to reality.

Not actively.

(I put it back in the fridge. Who would ever look in the fridge for beer? )

I've had to deal with that with family members.
Glad to hear he's been found, though.
Hope he gets better soon, too.

Thanks guys...we are all happy he was found and now in hospital getting the right care...he could have easily become another "crazy homeless" guy you see on the streets

Driving lesson at 9am. I've been going to bed at 5-6am for the last two months (except for when Disarm D'arcy was here and screwed up my schedule ;) ). It's a little over 2am and I've just had dinner.

:joy:

I'm home now again, and sad about it. Think I've posted this a few times but long distance sucks. Will be around here more than I've been last couple of weeks though

C'mon. Don't mess with my street cred on here by tellin' that kind of stuff.

Distance is the worst, especially right after the leaving. Any end in sight? Hang in there, mang.

Forget to update my car registration, that's $60 I just pissed away for no reason. :(

Also my insurance card was expired, because apparently those expire yearly even if your plan doesn't change? Shit doesn't make sense to me.

Had to do the same thing a week ago.
I didn't even realize it, but apparently it hasn't been registered for 6 months.

I've got two weeks to get my smog check to complete my registration....12 year old truck still costs $280...plus the 60-90 for smog every two years. My wife's newer CR-V costs $204 with no smog for at least another year.

It ain't hardly worth it anymore. I only drive like under 2k miles a year, if that. I think the most I've driven in the last year was to NAMM.

Still seriously considering going pre 1972

I have to do that by the end of the month. Thanks for reminding me.
