I really like Wovenhand and Black Sabbath and I barely listen to doom... I also only like Sleep when I'm smoking? This place is rad though, and I'm really glad that all of the people I like from Talkbass and HCFX are here without the shitty people for the most part.

I don't smoke, because it wouldn't go well with my therapy and medication, but I'm sure Sleep sounds awesome when you are.

This is great.

mc_muench wrote:So decided to update the rough version of a track we had on my bands bandcamp with a new unmastered, unmixed, scratch vocals version of the track from our recent recording sesh. Which was awesom! recorded all 80 mintues worth of the instruments and guitar overdubs in a 20 hour timespan. We still have some more vocals to do and that date is booked for early June.

Also, this song is a great sample of my bass tone for the album...Ric into Peavey Vulcan straight in with built in fuzz into a unknown 415 and my Dunwich DI clean powering the power section of a sunn concert bass in to a 118.

Hey, some of my best friends are reptilian overlords. They're not so bad, once they recalibrate the implant in your frontal lobe.

I'm really digging the tones in here and the vocals. Keep that shit coming!

nailwalker wrote:Drunk and figured I'd post the single for my solo project here, not very doomy but has some post-metal connotations that I feel a few of you might care about in the slightest.

Fake drums are the bane of my fucking existence so it makes me hate this song in its entirety, especially the intro, but I've gotten some good feedback so I figured I'd put out the single before I finish the EP as a whole.

Any and all feedback appreciated.

My only claim to fame is playing saxophone on every piece of music that I make as I can, so if you're in to that kind of thing, it's here.

I'm not much for black metal, but I really liked this. The saxophone was a really, really nice touch. Drums didn't bother me much, except that I'm not all about the double bass. :thumb:

Thanks guys! We have plenty more riffs than that. Like i said our debut is going to be a double. 11 songs Just under 80 mins, a few seconds longer and we probably would have needed two CDs Haha.

Hoping by fall it'll be out. Vinyl by the new year.
