do you have access to a bi-phase? curious to know your thoughts on the two. i'm on the wait list but can still pull out, but it would be nice to have a smaller boxed version.

RE: bi-phase - sorry i don't, i sold mine a number of years ago. I think Schnikes or maybe Hiwatt Bob did a youtube on this though? To my ears, the Pi-Phase is the real deal man...he's done a great job with the clone. Do it, you won't be dissapointed!

I really wasn't complaining about a lack of attention...and am not so emotionally needy as to pander for praise from people I haven't personally met & kicked it with offline.
I have over 2k out of pocket, invested into this (most recent) board, plus countless hours of research, planning and experimentation.
Lots of trial & error and trade-ups have taken place in the past 18 months, and when things come together to mesh in such a way that makes my eyes widen, all the spent time and effort is that much more worth it. This stuff obviously brings meand balance, and that's already enough.
So yeah, without a doubt it's awesome to be recognized by your peers, but by no means do I post for sake of ego or fishing for compliments; nor was I suggesting that these LSY threads are about such posturing here on ILF. Elsewhere, sure. But I know I'm not the only one to notice the conspicuous sincerity by this obsessive community. Definitely an unavoidable degree of narcissism involved, but that's par for the course. The difference is, rather than competitive show & tell...I think of this more as comparing notes and sharing ideas...with visual aides.
K nuff rambling. More playing.
Agreed. Of course, there is nothing wrong with collecting pedals because you enjoy it. We don't criticise people for having an extensive surf board collection when they can only go surfing two dozen times a year. If you have the money and enjoy it, so what? I'm not saying that's you or that's me, I'm just saying there is fuck all wrong with it.

Exactly. My friends would only go around 20 times per year, but some spend thousands on trips to Morocco, Portugal, Nicaragua, etc. to surf and only surf for an hour in a day. Do I disdain that in any way? Fuck no. That's their passion, that's their life.

I like that the "flow" is what confuses you about a board UG...
