yeah, thats why there will be two separate rigs going on. I dont mind moving everything for shows but multiple times a week for practice is not happening.
I have a 4x12 thats about to become extra here now, so that will likely stay there and may get added to. we'll see

9 times out of 10 my band practices with light weight practice amps. Only when we have a gig coming up do we bother to haul the big shit to the practice space. That might be one of the reasons we always seem to have sound issues when we play shows. But fuck it, I am not gonna be dragging that shit across town every week.

This is why I have a rig for home, a rig for practice , a rig for shows and an extra just in case. I have rigs stashed in hidden locations, just in case I need to drop off the grid suddenly. I'm building rigs of mass destruction in secret bunkers, you'll never find them.

I am no gear hoarder but I do try to have redundant equipment so I can leave most or all of my shit in the studio when I have a show.

One day far into the future on some storage locker auction show, they will throw open a door and the locker will be filled with old, awesome amps and cabs. It will be SLK's long lost forgotten collection.

...and a dried up shrively corpse of SLK who tried to fish a dead mouse out of an amp and touched some still-charged capacitors...
