from the demo's i've it sounds like wide open it has octave overtones all over the neck, not just up high like with a superfuzz, and it sounds angry.....real angry:thumb:

holy shit man! the tone machine looks so tiny in there. I want to try one real bad now.
haven't tried a superfuzz either. fm2 is seizure inducing. the way it feeds into the rams head is completely fucking crazy. the bee baa has a more useable mids setting but is tamer overall. still, bee baa is the thickest bass fuzz. v2 muff is new fav muff. nearly identical to the bluebeard. just stacks different.

thanks for the insight. i've got feelers out on one right now.
its plain to see you would love the fox tone machine, it stacks soo well and its octave switch is the best. octave everywhere type of awesome. and you need....NEED to play a superfuzz. most aggressive fuzz of the 60s and it has octave up when you're playing higher up the neck. but the fuzz is so intense that you get "ghost octave" ? wherever you play.
yeah, i've got a v2 that's my favorite, and a v3 version 2 that kill it is too. the v3 uses the same circuit board as the v2 just different resistors and caps etc. they are so similar and have that 3d wall of fuzz, but different enough that stacking them is intense.

lots of possiblilities
For got to mention I'm running the wet output of the dmm into one channel on the amp, and sending the dry signal from the dmm into the panther. Which I'm running into the other channel on the amp. this way i've got two delays processing the signal and can set them for interesting rhythmic or percussive effect. i wasn't thinking but i should have added an other delay slaved to the panther for some further tap tempo fun.
anyway, the two volumes on the amp act like a wet/dry control for everything when both delays are on.

you'll love your warmjet. ian is a total gentleman, and the pedal is really heavy. it can be squelchy too. it's funny you mention the aux out because i've looked at it so many times and though "i need to use you." but i always forget. i only have one amp at the moment, which i lent to a friend, so i've been using my roommates vt-22. also, just generally preoccupied by, car transmission death, buy a new car, demo girlfriends new house, enroll in final semester of school, schedule annual military training around existing jobs, buchla cloning, get eurorack ready for winter touring, need to sleep more blues.

hey thanks for the input on the warmjet. i wanted an original and actually thought I'd find one easily...not so easy, and when one finally did come up for auction...some $4000. so its ghost effects, which i'd already been drooling over the pics. i need to pull that delay out too, its been awhile.
