I've always wanted to try an Enforcer. The Nuge was on point with that amp.

SG is here, but took a knock in transit that gouged a chunk out of the upper horn, so I'll have to have that glued. I've got a replacement bridge on order for the non-intonatable wraparound it's currently sporting, and I'm not sure the tone control is doing anything, so that'll need a look. Also a proper setup for B standard with decent strings. I'm liking the tone out of these mini-humbuckers, though.

ouch man. maybe try making a claim with the shipping company? You might have to send it back, or you might not.

^^^ The seller's placing a claim with USPS - he shipped it insured, so that's an option. If he'd packed it better, frankly, we might not have had a problem, but it's a little late for that now. =\ The gouge is on the back side of the horn, so it probably won't be visible when it's being played, and it's not like the guitar was in pristine condition otherwise, but still. Not really what I wanted from my first vintage guitar buying experience, you know?

OTOH, I've been wanting an excuse to put a Hipshot Baby Grand bridge on a guitar for ages, so excited about that. Why don't other wraparound TOMs come in black?

In case any of you are missing the Super Wizard.

from the Bremerton show. That room was fucking amazing. the bass resonance was a thing of beauty. Tracked down the sound guy afterwards because he has a good ear and knows what the fuck is up with heavy. So 3 AW shows for me this weekend and I got to see Black Pussy, Sun Giants, Old Iron, Chron Goblin, Electric Citizen and fucking Fu Manchu. Pretty stellar. :thumb:

I was surprised I didn't see ya there, although the one to be at this weekend was the bremerton show. Chris (sound guy) did an awesome job, never heard them sound better, and well, black pussy and sun giants made it a pretty sweet bill.

Following in quick succession to my doom kittie strap is my warmoth body. It is gorgeous and I can't wait to put it together. Of course that will have to wait a couple of weeks since I am going on vacation. But I am super excited. And in a short bit I am off to see Slint. Not doom, but pretty cool.

That's an amazing looking bit of wood. the cost is in getting a blank that is all one piece. How are you going to finish it?
