A customer who's been annoying the shit out of me for the last month has suddenly decided he doesn't want to pick up the phone when it's time to pay.
Plus another repair shop "got my email" but apparently doesn't seem to understand that it's a fucking bill not a "hey, here's some repairs we did for free" letter.

I only have $45 left and there's nearly $1000 worth of repairs waiting to be paid.

You'd be surprised how often I have to do that.
Repairs regularly cost $300-500 when things start getting hit by lightning.
I usually deal with "repair centers," too, so not getting paid is even more aggravating than when it's just a random person.
There's one guy/repair center that decided to send a unit back under warranty claiming it was defective (after I told him several times what the problem was) after only two weeks and now he's decided he's too good to pay for return shipping.

Oh my fucking god, there are no decent jobs to move onto.
My shitbag boss knows that one of our clients with MS is self medicating using pot. Not someithng I'd have a problem with usually, but he does it while we are on shift and has asked staff to administer it to him in the past. Management know about this and turn a blind eye. What makes it complicated is, his teenage son has moved in with him. This kid is like 15-16, is not going to school and basically just sits around the house all day. Dad is eating more and more cookies and is less and less able to look after himself, let alone give two fucks about what this kid is doing. So who the fuck is legally responsible? Where does our duty of care end? I'm not working on his care team, but my boss asked me to this morning, minutes after a distraught coworker told me she had seen THE TEENAGE BOY GIVE HIS DISABLED FATHER MORE HASH BROWNIES WHEN HE WAS ALREADY TRAINWRECKED. She confronted management about it, they told her, "well, you don't know what was in that brownie." and left it at that. When I texted them back as professionally as possible to say, "no, no fucking way in hell." they told me to "chat" to them next time I'm in the office, as opposed to have an email conversation about it as I suggested. Which means shit is up and they know it. No paper trail.
I feel like they're going to bully me into this and make it conditional to my employment so I want to have an exit strategy but there is nothing out there to go to.
URGH!

Time to create a paper trail and get written corroboration from coworkers.
Set their shit on fire.
In other news, after waiting a week and half for the dude to pay, I finally called him up frustrated as hell and the guy actually said, "oh, I haven't checked my email in over a week."
HOW DO YOU EVEN HAVE A BUSINESS IF YOU DON'T CHECK YOUR FUCKING EMAIL.

Yeah....that shit is WEAK.
Yeah, I'm trying to convince the employee who witnessed it to file a formal incident report, or even a complaint, but I think she's afraid.
I don't blame her, I feel like they're going to try to put the weight on me and I haven't had anything to do with this client for over a year.

The software I need to do my data analysis isn't approved for use in my company. And there's not a workaround available for excel that's approved for use either.....
