I think it should be out sometime this summer. I'm not sure. We turned in our song in February, but Haze was on that King Buzzo solo acoustic tour and got behind on his schedule, so IDK now.

 Now every time I see one of those guys, I'm gonna picture them breaking into song, with little fairies hovering around them.
Faeries wear boots though, so its all good.
Cool man, sounds good. :thumb:

Band names?

dude. was thinking of you (weird I know) this weekend when I was at a beer fest in IL and eyehategod was playing. Dude was playing one of those Ampeg VH140's or some such old ass solid state. Sounded awesome. Sounded sooooo fucking awesome.

I saw EHG when they toured Australia, and aside from playing phenomenally, their sound was awesome.
SS150s for the fucking win.
Pretty much the best live guitar sound I've ever heard and gave me instagas for one.

EHG was awesome. So stoked to be seeing them again here in a little over a month.
When I saw them this weekend there was a 20-foot gap (6-meter) between the crowd and the stage. Mike kept lamenting about how the gap was so sad, inviting all of us to come closer. The gap had lasted through 5 bands so far, none as awesome as EHG but still cool nonetheless. It seemed like it wouldn't happen. Security was getting rowdy. But in his Southern, vodka laden drawl his words of encouragement struck hard in the hearts of many and lo and behold the gates to God's Kingdom were smashed and the heathens stormed the stage.

all in all the day ruled because beer + metal = awesome. the only downside was that it was fucking frigid. so frigid, in fact, that Matt Pike wore a SHIRT. Unbelievable, I know.

HOLEE SHIT. PIKE IN A SHIRT.
It does look cool. (edit: by which I mean the weather)
That's awesome about the crowd busting down the barrier.
How's the new EHG drummer?
I'm pissed that Heathen Skulls fucked the last tour of Oz up so hard they didn't even board a fucking plane to leave the US.
For the record, they brought those Ampegs with them last time they cam down here, so we have shared dem awesome SS toanz bro!

I got a text on Saturday morning that said:

"Text me with the details of Matt Pike's outfit."

I immediately replied with, "No shirt. Jeans. Cross Trainers."

Imagine my disappointment.

When it got too cold to hold a beer and you contemplated the best option between drinking to get warm or simply shoving your hand in your pants and looked at the latter as the best you really started to wonder if Pike would wear a shirt. It became a real topic of conversation.

The new EHG drummer sounded good but at this stage I had been drinking for a few hours and I'm not like a diehard EHG fan or anything. I wasfamiliar enough to know that I'd really like to see them live (and am stoked about seeing them a second time, now). Seriously though -- those toaaaanz. PURE CRYSTAL LETTUCE.

Nice! I have my eyes set on either a Beta Lead or Traynor next. Which ever I come across first with cash in hand

Betas are such killer SS amps. Highly recommended. Loud, takes pedals well, and the onboard dirt is killer. I just love my V4 too much to make my Beta my primary amp.

The new guy is badass. He killed it when EHG played Denver.

And they'll be in Seattle on Sunday with Ancient Warlocks opening up.
I may end up at all 3 AW shows this weekend.
Friday they're with Chron Goblin and OLD IRON! Old Iron was awesome and made me very sad I showed up late and didn't catch thier full set. Must see whole set.
Saturday Sun Giants and Black Pussy. Need to go to this one as the Sun Giants people are rad and have been to a bunch of our shows and I keep missing them. Have listened and they sound awesome.
Sunday- Fu Manchu!

Quite the weekend. Will have to see what the wife will allow. ( She'd say go to all of them but I can tell when she's not happy, and it's a rough time for her right now.)

Does the band name thing work with any governmental position or does it have to me royalty?

Meth Administrator.
Chronic Dictator.

I kinda like those :p

I'll see you at the Sat. show- gotta go look up Sun Giants.............
