I went to set up a new phone plan today and everything was good, price was fine, phone was fine, it was all whatever; I don't even really want a new phone but my current one is on its last legs and I need a new one for work.
Last stage of payment, dude wants me address. "Oh we don't provide service for that area". Five miles out of where they do provide service. I honestly didn't even know this was a thing that happened. Coming from the EU, the way mobile phones and internet are done here is just unfair and silly to me. Next cheapest option I can find is $30 more than that one.
I also woke up today looking forward to having some time off to get some recording done, then got offered a night-shift at my job and it threw all my plans off. I can't afford to not take shifts when they're offered and it's a very much a mild irritation because earning money is never bad but YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND.

I hope no one reads this but boy it was fun to rant.

That shit happened to me at my last job like crazy.
Started there as part time work just so I could pay rent and shit but they were so short staffed I was on the charts for two weeks straight working 4/6 A.M. to Noon/2 P.M. on top of my other job working 6-8 P.M. to learn shit about electronics.
I had to leave after only two months because I could barely get out of bed on the weekends.

My movers decided not to show up. They decided to tell me after they were supposed to be there. Said they were working until 2 am. Their dispatch said they are full of shit.

That may be, but I am now shit out of luck.

Grind beans. Fill water reservoir. Rinse filter and put in basket. Yawn, stretch, and knock the carafe onto the kitchen floor, shattering it into a thousand tiny pieces.

I haven't gotten more than 5 hours of sleep in any night within the last, like, 3 weeks.
I was about to pass out a while ago, but now I'm wide awake and have to go to work in 3 hours.
I just wanna fucking sleep.

I have only gotten more than five hours of sleep a handful of times in the last decade! Welcome to my nightmare. :(

Ebay seller likes my offer, but wants to do it off ebay, just thru paypal.

Granted ebay never got me the last time a seller failed to deliver, so it's not like I trust them more.

You're still protected right? ebay & paypal are the same company. THat 13% seller's fee is irritating.
I sold a drum set on feebay; winning bidder doesn't pay. Mild irritation.
I give a second chance offer to the next bidder & he pays immediately. FIrst bidder still hasn't replied to messages or to the cancellation. Whatever.
