As long as the seam hasn't separated at all on any of the drums (a common problem on the fibes) its not bad.

seems like a pretty solid deal - check them over for cracks/splits in the clear, especially around the lugs.

There's a crack in the kick, which would make me weary of their stability but its not a death sentence.

didn't see that in the ad - good call Skip. Owner says it hasn't moved, i'd be curious how long he's owned it, where stored, etc. Ask all the questions, listen, stand there pensively, looking through the set (seriously) - then offer him $500!

BUY IT NOW!!!

That's a really great price on those, dude seriously. I wish I never sold mine, but I sold them to a good friend so I know I'll see them again.

Wait...yeah, I didn't see that there was a crack in the kick. Still a good price...I'd offer $500 and go from there.

Great sizes, too. Looks like they're Austin era, so I'm not really sure of the validity of them being vintage. $600 for a acrylic drum kit in those sizes is a very nice looking deal, though.

Also, Fibes haven't been in production for quite a while...and not really sure if they're ever going to be in production again. So they're kinda rare.

That's exactly how me and my wife are, but when we first met she thought I was more of a huge asshole. We got past that since I'm still an asshole, but so is she. We drink the hateraid together. And speaking of pushing our significant other's into bands. Last year I was finally able to get my wife to do vocals for one of my bands... meaning me playing everything. it took awhile to get her to do so and then took awhile to get things to where she would be willing to do vocals. We released an ep last year and a full length this year. Currently working on a new EP.

Also I'd say 500 on those drums. They are neat and while I consider myself a drummer far more than a guitarist... drum gear never really excited me I broke stuff way too much to really deeply care.
