It's neat in a way but not very practical. where the fuck am I supposed to set my head? am I supposed to get two and have them sitting on the ground leaned on each other to make a retangle? The more I think about it the more I want to punch it. :picard:

You just haven't thought big enough yet:

Build octagons, then you could stack them, or just have the one, although just one cab? BWAhahahhaahahahaahaha

So keen to hear new shit from AW...and your band...and all your bands!
Also looking forward to ending this year and starting my own fucking band.
It must be done.

I gotta go back and listen to your Flux-schtuffs again...I remember loving your sense of harmony and arrangement, can't remember strange tempos (I admit, it has been a while, but y'all keep blasting me with new shit and I can barely keep up).

Fuck, I hope my daughter sleeps tonight.
So very over being a zombie.

I don't think we do wierd tempos or time sigs. I did have a hell of a time getting some of our stuff to match 4/4 when tracking with ableton early on. I put that down to my lack of music theory knowledge. I mean, why over analyze it when you can just plug in and go? Dude from last night seemed like the kind of guy who knows what words like largetto mean. He was talking way over my head.

assface jackson wrote:Flux was great last night. I don't know about any odd time sigs- though I did have to hit the pisser once during the set, so maybe they railed into 11/8 for 40 seconds.... though I doubt it. Had to split before AW's set- super bummed, but my chilidog dinner was fighting violently to free itself from the cage of my innards, leading to a moment that was best experienced in private. I am considering some changes in my diet.

Thanks :thumb: Was wondering where you got off to. NO MORE CHILI DOGS! Looking forward to your Java Jive show May on 17th. thats going to be nuts. BRING ALL THE AMPS!!! I want to see that place look like amp tetris. Hobosexual was raped by the crowd, (in a good way) AW was killer man, Mos Generator was nuts. Tony got fired up and then didn't want to stop after they had played their set so we got sabbath covers and Frankenstein, pentagram, I don't know, just a ton of stuff they can apparently play at the drop of a hat. Monster players.

Anyone local to PNW, Ex-Gods (Mr. Assface Jacksons band) will crush your ear pussies. Go see them.

yeah man- I stayed through about 3 Hobosexual songs. Dug it. I'm always interested in how 2 pieces do their shit, having done it myself for years. Those dudes brought it. And thanks for the kind words, mofo. Given the size of the stage at the Java Jive, I think the band might kick me out if I show up with all my amps. Really dug your new jam last night, by the way- I was thinking and forgot to ask- have you talked to Tony Reed about recording? I don't know what his set up is like these days, but my old band did some shit with him a few years back at a killer studio in Pt. Orchard. As you know, the man has skills.

I have not....yet. that's definitely a good idea though. If he was into doing it, i'd be more than stoked for that. I kind of still feel like a new kid as far as the local legends go. Guess I'm shy haha. More than happy just to get on a bill with a band like that. We'll see. We owe ryder 3 more songs before we record anywhere other than my house though so could be a bit.

Awesome! I can't wait to get mine back, I had to take it in to get a new plug. it was electrocuting me and he went through it which was amazingly pretty clean he said. He kinda kept going on and on about it

AxAxSxS when you said one cab I thought of this:

Also the more I looked at those 3rd power the more I wanted to punch it. esp for how expensive they are. It's just absurd for what it really is.

What color Hoof is it?

Looks just like that, though the graphics are a little faded from use. Misterstomach can vouch for the radness of the Hoof. :thumb:

indeed i can. wish i hadn't sold mine, but it was desperate times. will definitely buy another at some point. it's one of the best of the super muffs. it's got mids, it cuts, absolutely crushing gain, sounds killer and the output is insane.

also, the triangle cabs are the stupidest fucking thing i've seen in a while. such bullshit in the advertising, it's ugly as fucking hell, totally impractical, and stupidly expensive.

None of those things.

Ha.

Dude, you are totally missing out on the vest-bro dollar.
It's a huge market.
Really.

Ax, sometimes I think people who talk theory at shows are playing their own version of the obscure band shirt game.

Also, if those triangular cabs are expensive, fuck it.
Not justifiable unless your head is shaped like the eye of providence.

Hex cabs for the Shriner/Masonic win.

First day of prac was great fun :!!!:
