Tbh I think lying to exes are important in some cases. Like for everyone's sake. I really like my ex, but I think being honest with her about what I did after our breakup would probably create more problems and obstacles for friendship than anything. Plus it's a way of detaching yourself from the ex in question, which is also important in the moving-on-aspect
Maybe I'm the childish and immature one though
Ps: after struggling with the notes thing for a few hours it got resolved, they are now safely backed up to like everywhere

Well, let's call it staying on friendly terms then. Me and my ex like doing the same kinda things, hang in kinda the same low life trash bars/hipster clubs who play håkan hellström and all that shit, so chances are we are gonna bump into each other. But honestly, I kinda feel like you are more right though. Friendship after dating is rarely a good thing, it ends up with either you get together, one of you wants to get together again (which sucks for that person) or it becomes really kinda forced. Or I mean, that's just my view now. I am by no means an expert at this
My lie was "I'm doing okay, mostly taking it easy", where the truth was "I'm drunk every night and I found tinder which enables me to have sex with a bunch of people out of sheer anxiety and self pity"

I sat in a parking lot, talking on the phone. We share a small house, so it is awkward to take a call in the house.
The real issue is the lying. I shouldn't have lied and I have to focus on honesty.

This week in my garbage life that I hate living
1. Job I had been gunning for told me that I was the best fit, they really loved me... but the employer is more comfortable with a woman for the position so they're passing on me.
2. Turns out TurboTax missed a major credit on my returns for the past four years at least... and I just fucking filed 2015 taxes a few days ago. Now I have to go through the amendment hoops for all my taxes since 2012. The plus side is I'm probably owed a lot of money by the govt but it's probably going to be a lot of work I don't have time for and it will take the IRS 10,000 years to process.
3. Fuck.

Do you have it in writing that they chose the woman because she's a woman? Because that's pretty fuckin illegal.

Sure is! No, they made sure to communicate this by phone. If I had known, I would have recorded the conversation. Also, they're billionaires.

Also if you guys want to meet up with me (because you have, like, a flawed gene or something and need to feel better about yourselves) around Roadburn I'm totally down.

It warms my heart that once every couple of months someone will comment on one of my old noise youtube videos about how crappy it is. Like clockwork almost.

Disable the comment function. Or is that a too simple solution?
