Thanks so much dude!
If anyone else is willing to help just send me a PM, PanicProne had a lot to say that helped slow me down but I can't keep out of my head.

Feel free to pm me or text! I don't have any answers to life's questions, but bouncing shit off each other's heads must be better than just inside your own

It was toxic and now I'm out. I just gotta come to terms.

I'm really proud of you.

Thanks. It was toxic in that it caused me unending stress. As long as she wants out, I'm out.
Fuck. I was prescribed Lorazepam by urgent care to get through the week. I really don't like idea of taking benzos. I'm super dependent on smoking weed. I'd hate to find something I like just as much or more, or like to combine it with.

I just wrote up a whole, well thought out thing for you waltodogg and my fucking shitty garbage browser (re: my incompentence) deleted it. Here's the cliff notes:
1. It's okay to need medication to mediate your mental state
2. In my experience weed is actually very helpful for the problems you're describing, but if it's not helping you, you need to stop taking it to eliminate it as a possibility.
3. Weed does different things to different people and you know already if it is truly helping you. There wouldn't be a doubt in your mind . This is super rare.
3, Benzos are rough, and they're not necessarily helpful, so the only way you'll know for sure is taking them for a couple weeks. If you experience no positive outcome, you need to get the fuck away from them. I tried them for a while and I don't have anything good to say about them, but that doesn't mean they're not helpful,

I am wildly in favor of knowing when you can have a healthy relationship with a substance, and when you cannot. If Lorazepam scares you, or if staying soberish is hard thru a breakup, feel free to reach out, I get you.
I have had a lot of experiences with (self-)medicating that were terrible, some that were good. it is really variable, but you deserve healthy coping tools.
My day started shit, but ended well.

Sorry, Waltdogg. I wish I had some all-encompassing, cure-all thing to tell you, but I don't. I can, however, throw my hat in the ring as an available set of ears(eyes?) if you need another person to talk to.

Sober? Me? I smoke dabs all day. I'm just concerned about adding a benzo to that mix might throw me more off kilter. So far though I've taken .75mg of Loraz and I felt okay so I mixed that with a few dabs and now I feel relaxed. Exhausted. But relaxed.

Soberish. As in, iiiiish. or, as in, less sober, more tryna be in a good head space wrt emotions and benzos.

Right that's the only way this will work. Staying in the right mental spot. Shit I'm even considered trans-cranial magnetic stimulation. Supposedly it works wonders on depression.
Thanks GuitarSlim, I'll be sure to if things are getting crazy again.
