Awww yeeee.

But why does the bus driver glare at us when we bring our halfstacks in, he's perfectly fine with moms and their crying strollers and they're about the same size.

I have yet to see a half stack on the subway but I see stand up basses all the time and those fuckers are huge. You would be amazed at the shit you see on the subway here in new york. A girl brought a full harp to the studio one time and she didn't own a car. I think she took a taxi but still. A full god damn harp. Like this:

There was a fellow bassist at my university that lived in town that used to strap his upright on his back and use his moped to get to school. Crazy sight to see that driving down the street at 8am.

Why are harpists always kinda really good looking?
Also, double basses rule.
And...

DAT CAB!!!
I don't suppose the hex guys would build me just a grill for a cab?
Probably not.
Love their shit.

I missed too much to catch up.
Back to planning lessons I go.

Oh yeah, Nick, you gotta go four-wheel-driving if you're getting a turbo diesel wrangler.
Even though I prefer Japanese 4bies, that thing will destroy.

I tool around in a Ford F150 that has almost 300,000 miles on it and a Toyata Tacoma with around 180,000 miles on it. Both have been treating me pretty damn good.

I also use 100% gasoline, none of that ethanol enhanced bullshit.

Dat Hex rig... tasty.

Not bad. Not a ton of blood orange flavor. Tastes like a rounded out IPA. A little bit of extra sweetness to balance the bitterness. Grapefruity.

Great name though.

It's a true road warrior relic and has all the scars and stories to prove it. The neck is amazingly well worn in as well as the fretboard, and the neck shape is pretty much a dead on match to my Monson. As soon as I got it I installed a Nickle covered SD Distortion (that I hand reliced first), some .12-.60 strings, and set it up for C standard. It plays awesomely and sounds HUGE and thick with lots of crunch, so happy right now. :yay:

Also, with a Couch Vegan Leather Strap it has absolutely no neck dive at all, and sits perfectly for my left hand to not hurt.. :doom:

NICE dude!!!!

Guess what I finally found over the weekend at a liqour store at the beach:

They had three bottles so I bought them all!

It's soooooo tasty! It tastes like real dark chocolate, not some hersheys milk shit, with just the right amount of apple mixed in. And even though its only 6.9% its fukkin effective. It's gonna be my band practice drink for the next two weeks.

Dudes, suggest guitar straps that are cool and affordable. I reckon it's time I quit using a basic, cheap guitar strap.

like seriously, no joke that website is the end of your search. I own five

Even their seatbelt straps are better than ANYTHING I've seen at guitar center, and half the price. A big plus for me is they make them extra long for tall ass mofo's like me.

I've had that Superfuzz IPA and enjoyed it. I'm not normally a fan of IPA's either. Elysian makes some great brews. The Dragonstooth Stout is one of my go to beers when I feel like a treat.
They did 12 beers of the apocalypse for the 2012 thing and they had a chocolate chili stout called Peste'.
that was an amazing brew. I really wish they would do it again. It was like a fucking willy wonka beer.
on first taste you got a nice rich stout flavor, then the chocolate would come to the front, and then as you swallowed it the chili would hit. just enough heat and nicely flavored. Amazing. Each sip was the same, 3 distinct flavors in order and each complimenting the previous.
I keep trying other beers with chilis in them but nothing has come close to that.

I like the levi's straps, leather, wide and good grip.
