Anyone have much experience with a Meatsmoke on a baritone guitar? I'm looking for a deep, super punchy clean amp that can handle deeper frequencies like down to A most of the time but also down to E in a VI.

Considering how fucking awesome they sound with bass I'd think one would be perfect for what you are wanting to do.
Kinda bummed right now. Parker sent me a message around 3:45 saying Druden was playing in Seattle tonight. We were in the middle of practice and I didn't see it till after 9, to late to go.
Did get the new song mostly nailed down though.

Still a work in progress, especially the vocs, but it's getting there.

I think you would be good with a meatsmoke. The guy from Russian Circles uses one mixed with a Loucks for his main guitar sound now. Studio is more focused on the Loucks but live is more focused on the Meatsmoke.

And RC's bassist has been running a custom First Act baritone through his Meatsmoke on some of their new material.

I think beerhammer on the general forums has a meatsmoke but a 100 watt version. You could probably hit him up for what he thinks of it. And if you do end up getting the meatsmoke I wouldn't mind some gut shots. I have been interested in what they look like circuit wise. Same for the loucks. They both sound great, very tempting buys.

filthy
I need to find a damn P bass that agrees with me. squire to vintage 60s, P basses and I don't get along

I went on a P bass spree and tried to find THE P for me (twss) I played everything from a 61 and 66 to every squire in the line, every single one of them just didn't speak to me.
in a band context they sound SOOOO good no matter what.
:edit: you can even ask dr poopinstien, a black on maple 78 that was used in his sam ash and everyone busted nuts over I couldn't stand it.

Hell I got mine on whim cause a 'black metal' "drummer" had it and he was just using it to record drone tracks... as in plugging it up to some pedals and a practice amp and recording that as he left the room. For whatever reason he wanted a left handed bass since he was left handed but he didn't actually play it. So I bought it for 200 bucks. and Loved how it sounded so that's what I started using more. But thanks on the compliment on the dirt, You too spawnofthesith!

Well done, mang. Fix'd definitely got overshadowed by the Musket, but it's got sooooo many good toanz in there.
I never bonded with my Musket. I love the Fix'd though.
