oh nice. didn't think to check there. I know with some of the smaller builders, I've had bad luck with colors just matching up universally, but i'll def give this a shot. thanks!

Pickup wire colors aren't universal. If I get a chance I will take mine apart this weekend and snap some photos. Someone else wanted this info too.

anyone know which wires I use or have any wiring diagrams for this? have it wired standard humbucker right now but might mod/rewire it this weekend...

thanks
d'jah figure this out? I did the "jimmy page" wiring on my Chessie and it's A-MAZE-BALLS....dropped in 250k's for the bridge and it brought down the resonant frequency and made the guitar even MORE to my liking. If you'd like, i'll get you a pic of the wires b/c I am totally blanking on what's what...

Okay, my guitar is apart.

White wire is grounded (start of coil 2 - I belive closest to the neck but I could be wrong)

Red wire is finish of coil 2

Black wire is finish of coil 1

Green wire is start of coil 1, connected to volume pot...

Hope this helps

I've got a riffian in the bridge of my bolt-on egc neck guitar, so its not exactly the same, but I can definitely recommend it from my experience.

How do the EGC necks compare to the 80s Kramer aluminum necks? I ask cause I recently got a Kramer XKG-20 and I really like it. It is making me want to get an EGC but I tried someone's before and the neck was too slim. Are they all like that?

The Kramer necks are way way larger than anything EGC offers. Even the thicker EGC necks are C shaped with .75" depth at the very middle. Thats a little thicker than an Ibanez Wizard neck. The 1.75" nut width may make the neck feel a bit bigger. Consider a Developing Nations guitar if you want an aluminum neck with a bit more thickness.
