I don't understand basses :(

My Status sounds so freaking sweet. Awesome. No other bass compares to it's clean tone. I use the Box at the front of my chain to tame it with pedals....but when it's disengaged it is full on.

Just sometimes the signal can distort the effect. Ryan has been really cool with the couple of questions I have asked regarding my bass. The bitquest is calling.

Let's go for it! *smile*

Booyeah Franz! Right on! You defeated the customs boss and claimed your reward... first BitQuest! Hope you dig it, have some fun with it and let us know what you think!

It is! Just waiting on Loann's choice and then you're up, Tom, probably be checking in with you later today about it!

I've been forgetting to offer people knob choices but if folks don't want the shiny metal knobs there's plastic knobs as an option, rainbow or solid, I'm easy. You want a rainbow, Greigy?

The builds are going well, should get most of them soldered up today and packed up and shipped over the weekend! I've got the first 16 on my bench in that pic but as I get more choices in I'll just add them to the build too, everybody's will be done and shipped this weekend/through next week. Thanks again, guys!

Thanks Kent!

Now guys, the rainbow knobs was just a fluke that Franz asked for.. I don't stock any of those knobs and didn't plan for this, so I have maybe a handful each of those coloured knobs. I'll do who I can but otherwise get into the metal knobs! *smile*

Just a heads up, you can buy those knobbies from a number of vendors for $not too much$
SO if anyone wants to customise their BQ in the future, itll cost you less than $10 I reckon, more if you insist on the higher quality variants out there
the knob type is Davies 1900 or derivative clone.

Thanks Ryan but nah, I think metal will rule.

You know what I'm looking forward to? Dialling in a cool sound then choosing a new patch and seeing what it sounds like.

Hi Ryan,
If you can do the coloured knobs great. If not, no big deal. They were just a little more the icing on the cake. I do not believe that the knob colour will affect the tone (although I am sure someone in some forum will disagree). I am obviously somewhere down the list, compared to most on this forum, but looking forward to the BitQuest when it is done.

Haha it sounds really weird clicking through the patches, totally fun thing to do.

Don't you worry, Kent, everybody who's asked for rainbow knobs is gonna get them! I can still do a few sets more if anybody else wants that, let me know.

Here's 16 BQs having a rest, I'll do up the shipping tomorrow! Thanks again guys, I'm excited to send these out!
