Guess this falls under very mild irritation. As some might remember, I drunkenly broke my tooth while riding a bike in like late October. No real worries, except a week of toothless ness and a not too exiting bill. My dentist fixed it up and matched the color to my other teeth perfectly and all. Since then, I've been taking care of my teeth better, like flossing occasionally, getting better toothpaste than my super markets in house POS brand and bothering brushing no matter how drunk/high I am. Small stuff like that you know. Well, I looked in the mirror today and realized my teeth has become whiter, which in all other cars would be good, except now my fake tooth bit is really fuckin visible and out of touch. It's nothing serious, just funny that no matter how much you try, in the end you'll fail in one way or another

Also sick just in time for the holidays. I've spent all day sleeping, drinking mint tea, and consuming various decongestants. Bonus points if I get my family sick tomorrow.
But, damn, get better dase. I'm sorry to hear about that unpleasantness.
In other news, this is my first Christmas alone since 2007, so that's got me feeling pretty shite.

The moment you actually put thought into a good gift for an anonymous gift exchange (a copper Moscow Mule mug) and end up getting something that is clearly a regift in return ( a fucking baby-pink scarf with pockets on the end that act as mittens)...

Had the exact same with a secret Santa. Gave a carefully planned inside joke gift with attached rhyme, and I got a post card that the gifted already had and a chapstick thing. Must've been vibing off some dry lips vibes or something. Ain't bitter though. That scarf sounds both fashionable and practical all in one tho haha

have a suspicion that my roommate's been turned into a junkie (or is on the path to become one). So unexcited 0/10
Also I think I rolled my ankle and fucked it (not literally but figuratively) during this discovery. Kill me in the face.

Not good. You know your rookie well enough to broach the subject and try and help or is this gonna be one of those awkward situations where one of you eventually going to just bail?

It sucks but you should have a honest talk with him. Hopefully before it's too late.
If you give a fuck about him, it will be worth it whether it works out or not.
Even if you have to slow down on some of your own shit to bring him back around.

He will probably just deny that he is getting a habit or even has a problem. Its is worth a try I guess. But do something before some of your shit disappears and ends up in the local pawn shop. They just can't help themselves when they have a habit.

I lived with a junky once and started to slip down that slope myself at one point. I used to have a Fender Bullet, an Ibanez acoustic, a Lotus (sg clone), and an electric violin. Someone had some great pawn shop finds, that's for sure.

Very sleepy right now.
I'm very sick of having to work overnight shifts.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/ene ... -gas-leak/Man, I hate LA. Mostly because my allergies hate it here, but damn...stuff like this all the damn time. Had brown outs yesterday too. Lame.
They probably paid enough in offset/fross polluter credits with the EPA at the beginning of the year to cover this too...and my smog/registration rates will probably increase.
Don't ever move to California...the good does not outweigh the bad.
