So many suggestions! I'm listening to as much as I can, I'm listening to Cough right now. (shit is tits, son!)
So far I've really enjoyed Shrinebuilder, Bongripper, Yob, Zoraster and Lord of the Grave.

I like to troll bandcamp and wishlist things. Then every once in a while I go on a spending spree and download it all.
Start on a good band then click on someone who bought it and check the other bands in their collection.

I've done that a couple of times. more so of checking people who bought my stuff and see what else they bought almost to see if they have good taste or if I fall into the wrong side of that taste.

Well they were actively both playing at the same time. they both released their first stuff in 98.... wait no just went and checked yea I was right Cave In had some stuff in 96 and 07 too. no one from Cave In has been in Isis. and no one from Isis has been in Cave In. they just do side projects together.

Some bands sneak by you like that and you don't realize how long they have been doing there thing. Neurosis has been kicking ass as long as I have been alive yet I can't tell you how many people don't know they have been going that long.

Some people just don't realize things like that. Like how Cave In was a great metalcore band before they became the sorta space rock whatever they call themselves band. I honestly don't care much for Cave In outside of Beyond Hypothermia and Until Your Heart Stops. Both I remember getting when they came out based on reviews I read in mags and was just floored at how good they were. I checked out other bands just based on them supposed to be sounding like Cave In. none of them did they all weren't nearly as good.
