I worked at a grocery store when I was 18 and I was shocked by how fucking lazy everyone was. I would gather all the carts, stock the shelves, sweep the floors, clean the break room, compact the cardboard packaging and help someone else with their work and have half a day left. I got put on notice by the assistant manager for working too fast, because if the owners saw it could be done that fast, they'd make everyone work that hard and probably just fire half the people.

So the lesson is...stock the shelves fast, then take a 20 minute shit.

Pretty much...it's interesting how dangerous it can be to be efficient in a workplace. Lazy, loud, and slow seem to be the preferred method of work in 'Murica

I worked at a mom and pop store, so it was just nonstop retardedness most of the time. The owner would smoke and drink in the store. The butchers were hammered drunk more often than not. One of the older dudes that worked as a stocker/bag boy had a crack problem - dude would fall off the wagon and disappear for a few days every couple of months, then just show up and keep working like it hadn't fucking happened. There was always something funny and/or interesting happening in that place.

This is a cheap but actually good reverb pedal. I've been using it for about a year now. Don't let the price or name fool you.

Ill vouch for the supermoon chrome.

This pedal is tight. The only thing I don't like is that the trails disappear when you switch it off. This can make switching really obvious and awkward. My amp has a separate effects loop for each channel so I was able to get around it myself.

Speaking of effects loops...I've noticed if you feed the Supermoon a signal that's too hot, it will sound like shit and reduce your volume when it's engaged. I'm not sure if that's normal for reverbs cuz before now I've only ever used amp reverb.

I've had issues clipping the input of my Alesis Wedge with a hot signal, but shit generally got harsh and mechanical sounding, not quieter. I've downsized to a Hall of Fame (which is a solid reverb, btw) and it does it too, but to a lesser extent. I saw somebody selling a Trinity for $100 somewhere, that could get you pretty far. The nice thing about tweakability is that if you how to make the most of each parameter you can get super subtle or super NOT subtle.

I've heard the ghost echo was nice, but the more I hear clips the more it sounds dark and gritty, which are things I don't really need. Supposedly it maxes out at around 5-6 seconds of delay time.

Also, speaking of FX loops, does anyone know what would cause an effect to be quieter or more subtle in an FX loop? I tried running my modulation and delays back there, but the prominence of the repeats practically vanished. :/

No idea what causes that kind of stuff. But I put an EQ pedal after all the effects, right before going back to the power amp, and that made a world of difference. The EQ pedal is not very "fun" to play with, but damn, makes everything sound so much better.

Actually saw a guy with one of these on the local craigslist today, and a million other Biyang pedals, might hit him up for sake of cheap and willing to trade...then again, if I'm going to trade a pedal worth more money than those, I'd rather trade for something more expensive, rather than trying to negotiate a couple of his pedals or the verb plus cash for one of my pedals. Or are any of their dirt pedals worth it?

I'ma go through and check out a million demos tonight of all the suggestions and I suppose take it from there.

It's the only Biyang I have so I can't speak to the others personally but I hear good things. On another forum I go to a member today posted a great review about Biyang's Rat clone.

I have the Blackout Effectors Cadavernous. Love that shit because it has the swell feature, which is really cool. It can be a lot of fun to loop a swell and stop it, making syncopated swells. It's awesome on the clean stuff but I've enjoyed what it's done with the heavy, too.

Fuckin a this thread moves so fast, hard to keep up with everything

On the reverb topic, I have the hardwire supernatural and eqd dispatch master. Both are fucking awesome at what they do, depending on what your looking for

T-rey, I think Vikings is on Netflix, but I'm not sure. Definitely a show worth getting into though!
