Dude, I know the moving back in with your parents thing. Been doing it for more than a year, and at times it can be depressing, no matter how awesome your parents are. Just find stuff to do. Go to shows, meet friends, create something. Soon enough you'll miss being able to chill out all the time.
And yeah, perfectly natural to be a bit angsty about going new directions and starting new stuff as a young adult. But when you've actually made the plunge, those feelings will mostly disappear. Appreciate the relative freedom of your choices, take control, kill yr idols, take no prisoners. Yeah.
And you know, pm if you wanna talk about shit.

Gee, you're a bit of a downer there, fellow Nord. Lighten up, take it for what it is and join the circle.

Fourth of six overnight shifts in a row almost done. Getting a bit burnt out.
This flooding in South Carolina equals lots of potential work for company and lots of work for me. Plus preparing for recording next week. If someone wakes me up while I sleep today (which I fear might happen), I'll likely become physically violent with them.

ARE WE FUCKING JERKING IT IN HERE OR FUCKING WHAT?!
Very occasionally, I miss beerhammer.
Okay, maybe "miss" is a strong sentiment.
Maybe I wonder what parallel trajectory ILF might have taken had he not faced exile...actually, no. We're good.

I'm to turn in a paper on a Dickens novel Friday morning. I just finished reading the book. It's safe to say that my teacher shouldn't have...great expectations.
I should go write...

Absolutely hated that book when they made us read it in high school (go figure) but loved it when reading it as an adult. What's your topic?

The bildungsroman. I'm fairly free to write an essay on what I want, as long as I keep in mind that it's a bildungsroman.

The book is good, but I fucking hate Pip. My teacher loves him, but I'm about to butcher his witch-spelled, masochistic, self-centered ass.

" Pip wasn't that cool because he had the name Pip which made him masochistic and self-centered. Pip didn't build buildings like the Romans. San Dimas High Football Rules!"

It's all about being concise.

Sitting at the doctors office, realizing that I've tossed out 30% of my paycheck for the year and our insurance does basically nothing for us. Going to the doctor costs $70 for routine shit. I have to pay $4500 meet my deductible, which is about 30% of what I've made this year. Seriously, what is the point in all of this? I have so many health issues that I really need to see a doctor about, but I would never be able to afford any of it anyways. I want to go back to school to get certified as a welder, but the bills have gotten so high that I am living paycheck to paycheck so I wouldn't have time for it anyways, so I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels.
