No, I didn't even have anything to take. The guy got frustrated when he realized that I really didn't have any money or stuff worth stealing and said "I'm takin' something" then tried to grab my scarf off my neck, but I had it tied well so it just tightened up. I just gave him a look like "really?" and walked away from the guy after that. He didn't have a weapon, so I wasn't really afraid of him, but he did have a foot or so on me, so he probably could have kicked my ass if he decided to risk it.
Honestly it was funny, because I was kind of like "Man, you picked the wrong person to mug. You're just going to be disappointed here."

I checked out the article since you mentioned it, there was a couple things about the article I didn't like; but the main point I totally agreed with. But damn it totally went over a lot of the idiots in the comments heads, just shows how brainwashed some people are about women in our culture, ugh
the article wasn't even asking for much from men or women. The comments are telling that our sexist society is pervasive in guitar culture, that the article is relevant and the problem is real.

No. And no. Most women stink. They can't play men under the table. The only woman in the Top 1000 ever as "a player" is Sharon Isbin. The only guitarist as a musician who belongs in the Top 100 is Joni Mitchell. And she was great at using the guitar to voice her music.

I think my hardrive just stopped working, I can't access it on my PC anymore. bummer. I have a lot of stuff backed up, but it will take a lot of time to set it all back how I like it. things could be worse

Ordered tile for our kitchen walls in April. It is a special tile (not common at all...stone fish scales). Still don't have them. Every time I call, dude says they are on the dock, or I can't get then but will and they will be on the dock. They are coming from Thailand.
Now when I call, he just says "I'll call you back" for four straight days. Gotta drive all the way across LA and confront the dude now.
This importer has been the only reputable construction supply company we have dealt with in LA that has good/ok prices (trust me, LA people suck for the most part...out to screw you unless you have at least 20k of cash in your hand). It's going to be an hour drive and probably a longer drive back jst to get an answer. They've been so good and we have bought all of our tile from him (and we have a lot of tile)...don't know why he is being so shady and dragging us along. If he can't get it, he can't get it, that is fine, just let us know. Luckily we didn't put a deposit.
Maybe also news on the family front, but don't know what do with such news? Maybe party over?
