I've got short hair but I'm scruffy and never clean shaven.

No ink.

I've got short hair and hip, brown plastic rimmed glasses, and only a couple bad, non visible tattoos from my time as a shitty eighteen year old in a bad punk band.

But, I'm also fat. I feel like that's fairly doom.

Remember, in doom, you're never fat, you're just heavy

Mares of Thrace are good, never heard them before. I've heard of them, because of Kurt Ballou talking about building the singer/guitarist's guitar for her.

I've had a beard for the last 20 years. My recessive sasquatch genes kicked in early and I hate shaving...and seeing my face. I keep it trimmed short now though, no more mountain man beard. When I was 100 lbs heavier, having a huge beard made me feel like less of a fat ass, something to hide behind. Now I feel like having a huge beard makes my face look fatter. I hear a lot of guys talking about how their wives/girlfriends always want them to shave, my wife is the opposite. Every time I trim my beard she yells at me "don't shave it all off!".

No long hair, I cut it off years ago. I usually shave my head or keep it really short, low maintenance.

I've got tattoos, but I almost always wear long sleeves. Haven't gotten any new ones in a long time. I'd probably make most of them disappear if it meant I could get the equivalent cost of them back now. No regrets, I just don't care about tattoos at all anymore. It seemed really cool and important in my 20's. That sums up a lot of things for me, I just don't give a shit about a lot of small things anymore, especially related to style. I'm pretty utilitarian at this point.

I don't own any vests.

I've only shaved my face completely bare 2 times in the last 16 years (since I started growing facial hair) for my first wedding (HUGE MISTAKE) and the second time was due to an unfortuante meeting of flame and face..... :grumpy:

I have short shaggy hair at the moment but I'm growing it back out, and I've got quite a few tats and almost all of them readily visible.

I'm your fairly typical doomster I guess, but I've been this way for the last 12-13 years so :idk:

I'm so into it!!!
To quote the great Beavis and Butthead, "This music is slow and fat."

Really only right after work. When you're covered head to toe in dirt. I didn't recognize you the first the first time you came into my old Sam Ash after work. You sure did look like a transient.

I have short hair, no tattoos or piercings. I shave every other day. At almost every metal show I go to (regardless of sub genre) I get funny looks as if to say "who is this guy and why is he here." Go figure.

I feel weird with all beard stuff today. I'm 40, have had a beard of some sort since I was 16 for all but a few brief periods. I also grew up with black ray bans as my glasses because I didn't like how needs got picked on for them and I've been wearing those since '86, flannels since '87 because my grandpa and uncle always wore Pendleton's as carpenters and even Doc Marten's are popular again. This is what I get for never changing my style...everything comes back around. I look forward to going back to being the weird looking lumberjack dude.

I've got patchy facial hair. I usually try to grow it out and shave it into chops, but right now I've just got the creeper stash going
