It's a bit similar but the looping makes it whacko. LOL!

I used an iPhone set of headphones as the mic and ran the CT5 through the fx loop of my amp, then tried it direct with a Boss SD1 (to bring up volume). Both resulting in pure insanity. I did a mini clip on instagram but it can do way more than what I did. I even did some looping (not recorded) and it's freaking nuts!!
Microphone into CT5 is definitely fun!
Here is a clip I made messing around with a crappy microphone.
Signal goes microphone --> ProCo Rat --> CT5 --> RE-20.

This here has vocals on the Ct5 to do the back ground layering.

Mode 2 with vocals is Burroughs in a box - so much fun!

I'm gonna try again as i just realized I wasn't in quantized mode when I did it so the loop could've been slightly off, but every loop was too long, as in the cutoff wasn't where i stopped recording.

It's been perfect before. Will try again and report back.
ya only get 4 seconds

A little quirky question...

Is it possible to modulate the LenB knob in mode 1? I was messing around w/ my beatstep and when it changed the LenB knob, the buffer would keep resetting itself. The LED would flicker red and blue like it should, but no sound was produced.

if you want it to keep the buffer you have to turn on transcendence.

bypass the unit. hold the soft switch and let go while the led is green.

global transcendence is on

to turn it off, bypass the pedal, hold the soft footswitch and let go while it is blue.

Is there a manual for this sucker out there?? Seems like there is SOOOOOOO much I don't know still. LOL!! I've owned every version so far too! haha. I keep discovering new things though.

For instance, I took a 1/4th to 1/8th adapter and just stuck it in the expression jack to make it think there's an expression pedal in there. It worked! So now in different settings I get completely different sounds without sweeping the pedal at all. Or I create a loop, then take the adapter and quickly pull it partially out and put it back in. I do this as fast as I can and it almost sounds like a damn turntable. It's freaking crazy. haha.

Manual is here:

I got my first three-switcher last week and was spending time looking through it to see what I've been missing.

yes the manual is a bit out of date. the biggest difference are in teh 0.96 update. The changes are all explained in the 0.96 update blog post whichis linked at the top of the manual page. There is an excellent 1 page ref card in that update too. It is still correct except it does not mention what holding the softswitch in mode 1 does.

i will update the main manual after the next firmware.
