Thanks, guys. I think the reason this pushed buttons for me is that I like having a place where I can feel that I *am* part of the community, and I didn't want to let my tendency to avoid conflict get the best of me and send me off to fume silently about the whole thing. Better to get it out in the open and have done.

So: we're good, yeah? Yeah. Commence weekend revelry in 3...2....

I ate some slightly out of date cheese and now I have a sore tummy. That's my revelry for the weekend, I think.

So, it's almost April. What's the Best Doom Album of 2014 So Far?

The only Doom album I have from 2014 is Indian's new record. It's a little bit too heavy for me; I only feel like listening to it every now and again when I'm in the mood to be oppressed and beaten. Guiltless was tough to listen to as well, but it was still an amazing piece of work and it's one of my favourites.

Yeah, I was gonna say when it comes to inspiring dread, the new Indian is pretty much tops. I haven't had a chance to listen much to Thou or Conan yet but i'm sure they are great.

Looking forward to Yob and Cough (maybe?)

I had a similar reaction to the stream of the new Thou record. Challenging bands. I like the new Conan more than I expected to, based on my reaction to *Monnos*, but I'm still on the fence about picking up a copy.

I don't care if I'm the only one on here who actually listens to Pentagram-style Doom anymore, I'm gonna wave the flag.

Small doses of Indian for me. Epic band, but after more than three tracks i'm just drained.
