Just hating for the sake of hating. I want to go out and destroy something. I'm normally not like this. Fuck it all.

In "approving" "gay marriage", the Supreme Court of the United States and the current administration, (Barack Obama), and liberal media, celebrities, politicians and LGBTQ activists, want to make this country and the world itself into a secular and genderless conglomeration of soulless chaos, thus limiting individuality and freedom of speech.

It's funny though, how he feels oppressing non straight people into straightness is all about freedom.

I support gay rights and equality and shit but i get really tired of those that share my viewpoint only being able to make a priori arguments. Just because you happened to stumble upon a certain viewpoint doesnt in any way mean you're more intelligent for having it and defending it by calling anyone who doesnt agree with you an idiot doesnt make you clever.
Just because someone is a hateful bigot doesnt mean they aren't intelligent or that they've put any less thought into their viewpoint (often i find the opposite is true).

Sadly this is true. Although you do have to wonder how much better the world would be if such intelligence and energy were redirected towards improving this shithole planet instead of trying to aimlessly oppress or destroy 90% of life on it.

very true.

The world has changed a lot...there was a time when liberal views were mocked and it was ok to make fun of people views...where as the more conservative views were seen as something you cant talk against, in public anyway. Now days its become the opposite. As soon as someone says something thats an opposing the more liberal view they are shut down...I call it the Animal Farm effect...the liberals have taken over and now they are as strict and dominating as the conservatives.

just to set the record straight...my views have always been closer to the left than the right...but because of that i've always been tolerant of differing views, as thats what being lieberal is all about, which is why when i see people being mocked or shut down because they dont agree with the gay marriage or any other liberal views seems weird to me.

I think dividing the whole field of human experience and belief into left and right, liberal and conservative or whatever is most of the problem.
Those terms mean nothing when applied to real people and there are very few who subscribe to all of the views of one or the other, or even practise what they preach.
Making binaries out of this shit is what the powers that be want people to believe is the truth, it's how they want the world interpreted. Way easier to manage than the very grey greyness of it all.
Shut help us if we realise our individuality and retain our sense of humanity and respect in the process.

But Left vs right is just a nicer way of saying us vs. them

And its always us vs them.

Most people are fucking shitty. Often they are dumb, as well. So it goes, and fuck them to death with uranium exposure. There's that great bit about how the planet is fine and the people are fucked from end-of-his-life Carlin that I think resonates pretty widely.
