Earlier this year, I emailed an old music collaborator to offer some paid work on a couple tracks and, in total accordance with his usual behavior, didn't reply to the email for
four months. Nothing in his reply acknowledged this passage of time. I didn't respond to him, because why bother, but if I had it would have been just with "too fucking late dude."
I figure we gotta think of it like an opportunity to recognize the kind of people we should never attempt to work with.

I think I missed my enrollment period for health insurance or something...It's confusing.
I'm on my mom's insurance through the end of the year though, so...it's not actually bad.

My kid woke up before me today and went outside. Luckily the guys that were installing our new gutters brought him back. I'm pretty sure the they're only reason he went out to begin with. Still, fucking embarrassing and terrifying.

My parents installed a lock higher on the door (instead of the thing in the door handle) for that very reason. They'd lock it at night and I was too small to reach it so... stuck in.

Yeah, we're gonna get chain locks today so this can't happen again.
The worst part is the guy was ringing our doorbell and I heard it in my dream, and I was yelling at someone in my dream for ringing the bell and waking up my kid.

Tried playing music with some random person yesterday, the first time trying to play with people in about 6 months, and it was just absolutely horrifically awful.
Why is it so hard to find people to play with?
