Oh, c'mon. You know it's all about rigs. You can have a great riff that sounds like shit through the wrong rig.

Model T is 2500 bucks. I have 150 and my tax return is under 1000.

No one has ever complained about Sleep when they play fests on rented backlines, and Dylan Carlson, 'father' of drone, now uses a 1 watt Marshall combo amp for live shows. So...

The solution is obvious Spend your tax return on steroids and personal training so you can beat the shit out of someone and steal their Model T

Something I'll probably also never do. How depressing. I'm enthusiastic about the Hovercraft Falcon though. There was a Laney AOR II 100 for 400 on cl earlier but it's gone now.

I mean honestly dude just save your money and buy something that's cheap and loud. The Bugera will be fine for that, as will the "evil" twin -- which is basically a Model T reissue.
Have you listened to Blackened Soul's stuff? She does all her done DI, and it's rad.

A cool rigs a cool rig but it doesn't make good music. I mean we all love the gear here but it sure isn't the end all and be all of music. With out a good song/riff coming through it, its really better turned off isn't it?

That just brings us back to a good riff possibly sounding like shit through inferior gear. The issue being, I want to get a better amp than I have now.
