re the jaw thing, have you seen a dentist recently? you could be teeth grinding. 'bruxism' is the medical term. it's a stress thing. but it can set a chain reaction going across your muscles, especially in the neck and back. can be linked to migranes too. nerve routes, etc.
while the stress thing is something you will have to work out yourself, depending on what is making you stressed, you can get a silicon mouth guard that you wear in bed (i've got one) that both stops you wearing your teeth away and also absorbs and spreads the force of your clenching to some extent, and so can limit it spreading to other muscle areas.
it won't stop you grinding or clenching, but it will stop you wrecking your teeth (with the pain and expense that goes with that) and maybe lessen some of the knock-on nerve and muscle effects of that lockjaw thing.
because i''m low-income i got mine free (uk healthcare system is pretty cool, don't know why america fucks healthcare up so badly, you are supposed to be civilised) but i can't imagine they would cost more than a mid-range stomp. and might help you sleep better, which could make a big difference with how you manage your stress.
but you do have my sympathy. that overwhelmed feeling is not a good one to carry with you. best of luck with it.

Knock-off George Foreman it is!

I read this as "prenuptial" and was about to offer my congratulations.
You have some strange marriage rituals in Norway.

I got laid off along with 1/4 of my entire company. I've been there almost since the beginning. unfortunately that's what the 'cutting edge tech' workplace is like. I just hope the stock doesnt drop even more horribly by the time the trading window opens.
I'm actually quite relieved, it feels like I've entered a new stage of my life. Only put it in this thread because of the whole needing a job to stay afloat.

holy crap, fired this guy for stealing and a bunch of other stuff several days ago and he is still flipping here!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he lives in the dorms and was poking around the office this morning
I don't think he expected me in so early
when I asked him for a move out date he no longer spoke english.
pretty impressive, considering I have had several meals with the guy and played basketball with him, and he spoke english fine then.
so pissed. this whole situation is pissing me off today.

Yeah I know. We have lost 4 since the beginning of last year. 2 dogs and 2 cats. It's not getting easier. I'm doing it hard, but the missus is doing it real hard.

I'm trying to be strong. It's just hitting us very hard. They are all our babies, no matter how old they get. They have all come from really bad situations and we try to give them as much love as we can in the time we have them to make up for their tough early lives.
Thanks guys.

Shit, Kaos.
That sucks man.
I really admire those you guys for being able to do that.
One day I hope we can get ourselves in a situation where we can help out some animals as well.
Big hugs to you man.

Helping neglected and abused animals is rewarding but hard. The hardest times though are the times when we lose one. Not just for us humans. Just before Xmas we got 2 young kittens. Both from seperate litters, and born about 2 weeks apart and both rejected by thier mums. They both loved Rascal so much. They have been walking around the house looking for him crying. That is so sad to watch:cry:

I swear, after this I think I will finally be done with anything and everything dealing with that state.
Until my folks kick over.
