No idea - I haven't looked into it beyond that thread.

Is that because you were being mistaken for a lady?
Actually, I think I'm about due for another swap....

whats a p plater and a doughy? doughnut?
P plater is a young guy who has a provisional licence and they have to put a white plate on their car that has a red P on it, showing they are on provisional license. As they are usually about 17 or 18 when they on their P's, they do shit like doughnuts in suburban streets...cul-de-sac are the worst for that shit.

Straight outta Northcote.

that P is a good idea though. then i would always know who to cut off to get on and off the freeway and whose lane to drift into to watch the lulz begin. . .
k maybe not cause im too much of a dick.
Down here, P-platers are the assholes doing it to you.
Dark Terror Head thing: I was keen on the idea of that when I first heard about it....but there's too much going on with it. 2 channel, 50w, fx loop option. That'll do me.
Go team Conky band!
Seriously though dude, that's awesome. So new tunes hey?

EDIT: Ok, I just went to the orange website....there is a 50w version.
I guess I just don't want to cough up extra $ for an attenuator.

The karma suture is a harmonic perculator. They said it was in their NAMM video.
I wouldn't mind seeing more of the dark. But i agree orange just seems to be pumping out variants of the same things, just in different sizes. But then again that isn't much different then fender.

Awesme news on the new drummer fronts.
Manhammer always kinda seemed a bit to jokey as a name anyways. Look forward to hearing new materials from both of your bands.

I'm in the middle of video editing hell. Making a sampler I guess would be the word? for a buddys bands that has clips of all the songs from the new album. Is glorious fun especially since my pos laptop has been acting up.

Personally i think the most exciting thing orange has put out in the last couple of years is the Crush Pro range.
Not really a fan on the dual dark given the price point.

The CR120 is a cool amp. If you think of it as a version of the Sunn SS stuff then it makes total sense. And the price is right. I mean someone around here recently tried to craigslist a nice Sunn Beta Lead for more than you'd pay for a new CR120.

Let Us Prey is the only EW Masterpiece IMO. The original not the remaster. There is just something imperfectly perfect about everything that is that album.
Somehow I missed this one.
Personally, I think LUP is the underachiever of Electric Wizard 1.0. The self-titled is definitely the red-headed stepchild, and CMF and Dopethrone are impossible to pick between.
That could just be because I don't own Let Us Prey, though.

If you don't own it I suggest acquiring it (the original master version), smoking as much hashish as your body can handle, and then lisenting to that album. Then report back.
But then again everyones tastes are different.

What's the difference in the mastering?

The remaster has less "low end and overall mud", basically it sounds cleaner and more refined. While the main reason I love the first master is how thick and raw it sounds.
Its like comparing Converge's Jane Doe to Axe to Fall. Sure ATF sounds cleaner, more audible and overall more "professional" but JD's raw tone and analog distortion in parts just add's something to the overall experience that I feel is lacking in ATF.
