I don't have any frame of reference for that sort of cold. I've never even seen snow.

I love the snow and honestly prefer the cold to extreme heat but it gets fairly hot in MN too. Gets up to 100 in the summer and 40-50 below with wind chill in the winter. No weather pattern ever gets stale here

I'm sure Minneapolis and Winnipeg share similar weather conditions.
we get the whole spectrum of weather.
it goes from -40 .. to +30 in the summer.
and .. yeah .. Last Winter was a NightMare.

Today is Flippin' Cold!!

Will we lose control of global warming?
Can we stop the flood?
At least we should try.
Just need to stop doing some things you do in your everyday life that, for instance, finance some of the bs that's going on.

The biggest impact is actually, not-eating meat. Only 50 years ago, people would eat meat once a week. Yep, not every day like today.
And too bad the meat industry counts for 50% of the CO2 emissions (or was it 60%, I don't remember). And too bad that meat is full of disease, horrible genetic quality cuz life in cage, and full of antibiotics. And we have to feed it seeds that could instead, you know.. sustain a lot of people.

Awwwww daaaaaaammmm

And if you really don't wanna quit meat, don't, I don't care, but eat it once a week then, like your non-diseased ancestors did. They were obviously doing something right  Paleo diet and stuff.

If you have vampiric ancestors they might be non-deceased, though.
Regardless, I'm pro-floods and cannibalism.
Vote for me next time.

That feeling when you hype a piece of gear so much in your head that you aren't totally blown away by it.

:picard: to the max.

Not flipping, don't worry. I just need to take my board apart and experiment with placement.

Edit: I flipped it.

well, it's been almost a year since i arrived here in Charlottesville, and i suppose i'm somewhat better due to the medication that i've been 'round with. but i still don't want to be here. i actually miss the crying that i used to do, because i felt like i was feeling something. now i just have this weirdly wistful quality that hangs over me. i so want to go back home...i feel like The Man Who Fell To Earth.

taking antibiotics to clear out some bronchitis from the cold that never really went away. this makes me even sleepier: the last 2 nights i've gone home and gone straight to bed at 4:30 PM. Lulu (my cat) would just as soon i stayed in bed where she can snuggle more effectively. there's nothing to stay up for, you see. i need to cut my nails so i can play competently, but even that winds up making me feel like i lost all my mojo since 2011, when i could play a 45 minute set of looping without a break. i'm just low, end of the year and nothing to look forward to low.

I've has this weird ache/tenderness in my armpit, shoulder blade, and the back of my arm for a couple days. And muscle spasms. Driving me fuckin crazy.

Also I'm a hypochondriac and my first thought was lymphoma.
