I think this is my favourite Basinski album. It has the worst cover art though - just a CD in a clear blank plastic case with extremely minimal text barely visible on it. Was hoping for more considering how expensive it was... the sound is lovely though, it just rolls on and on with slight variations each repetition, just like water ripples. QE2 by Mike Oldfield for the third time today. I sometimes forget how fucking tight this record is, guess it gets kinda overshadowed by Tubular Bells and Ommadawn. But maaaan, it's good.

i almost never listen to Black Metal anymore (very few new artists do much for me & the most of old stuff just seems sort of quaint now), but this one still gets me every time.
