Got a guitar in the mail today I bought off reverb. No output! HAHAHA I guess that's why he sold it online. No worries, I have everything to fix it; switch, jack, or wires, I'm sure. Better to rewire now anyway, since it's just a chinese guitar.

That's why I generally don't buy used guitars online, save for local. :|

Bro
Is it just me or does first position F always sound like shit compared to sixth position?
I feel like first is more "proper" or at least not the "alternate" but it always sounds lifeless. I can't make it go BWWWAAAAA instead of BMMMMMMMM...

My entire e string on my bass below the 9th is dead. Maybe the whole string, idk. Maybe the pickup. Maybe my amp. Who fuckin knows.

it depends on the instrument. some basses have great sounding strings in particular. I usually think the A string sounds the best on most basses

I meant on the trombone
But I agree with you. The Circle K balanced sets I've used reduce that difference a little.

Yes, the first position F sounds like shit. If you look at it from a scientific perspective (frequency vs length vs resonating volume) you have the reason why
But my trombone has an f-attachment, so I can counteract it quite good - but the attachment is also the reason I really want to get a new one. Well, not the attachment itself but the valve. It's old and doesn't really work right anymore and you can hear a rattling sound in it when you play loud :erm:
Also- trombone + effects = whoa. But that belongs in the happy thread

Trying to motivate to drill pedal housings. With 20 fucking holes each. The cost of trying to do awesome Secret Satan as well as some awesome self-Sataning. Damn, I want a drill press.

Can't sleep, can only think about the comparative story arc and purposeful direction of the first Mad Max compared to the lack of any in the others and why Ferguson riots are so much more justifiable than when people rioted of Joe Paterno being fired.

Ugga bugga got a racing mind and I have to be around family all day tomorrow and could use the sleep.
