I loaded four finished tracks in July...did they not show up?

I need to be up and moving as much as I can, but I can only go so far — so I've been talking several little walks per day to the nearest park bench + back. I've been taking the completed tracks with me to hear them once before I start thinking about how they'll flow together. Quite tasty listening so far!

band (spontaneous kosmische): https://stargoon.bandcamp.com/

hope you feel better soon, i'm not new to backache problems so i can relate
Also, yesterday i had the chance to listen to my track again but on a different device (aka not my production headèhones nor my car) --> turns out i fucked up something in the mastering and everything is a ton muddier than i thought and lacks of mid-hi frequencies. I'm gonna fix this tonight and re-upload the track by tomorrow, sorry for the inconvenience

I did have one idea while listening to the tracks + thought I'd toss it out here: I was thinking of doing a "megamix" version of the album — a single track where the pieces fade seamlessly into one another. This would be included as a bonus track to folks who buy the album on bandcamp, giving folks the option for Continuous Ambieny Vibing. Okay idea/bad idea?

That sounds like a great idea to me. Quite how you would do it, I don’t know! I’d be interested in hearing the results though :)

I don't think this was really acknowledged, but I'm not sure if you fully understood the project? I could be totally wrong, but I'm pretty sure you submitted your tracks while we were still in the first phase of the project? There was supposed to be two phases. Phase 1 was for each person to submit several samples. Phase 2 was for everyone to use the submitted samples to make final tracks. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Agreed!

I think last time maybe people described which samples they used and what they did to them? I'd love to see that too...

True to form and name I completely spaced last/this week. Looking forward to listening but don’t think it’s going to happen for me.

Sad you can't make it, I used some of your samples

Iirc we did this in the old thread, so why not? : :thumb:

Last night i spent a couple of hours re-mixing the entire track. I found out that the final result was so muddy because i renamed the wrong track, and obviously i deleted the right one.
Anyway, gonna upload the correct one tonight.

I see that a Bandcamp friday is coming up next week (02/10), maybe we can upload the album by then as suggested some pages ago.

If we have all the tracks by this saturday i can find some time next monday/tuesday to merge them all in a single one as suggested by Hak (as long as you've come up with a tracklist already), i'll fix the master levels and compression to have some kind of general coherence --> if there's somebody more skilled than me willing to do this job i'd be happy to let him do it. Ed took care of the mastering of Okta 1, but i haven't seen him on ILF in a while.

This all sounds good. I'm down with Dowi handling the megamix. And I've definitely been nudging things along with the Bandcamp Friday release in mind.

EDIT: Dowi, my final track is now in my google drive folder.
