my knee-jerk response to those two models is "ICK," but when i look a second time i rather like them. i agree 100% about the Jazzmaster neck. "that's hot!"

I'm personally excited for the squier Toronado, it was far from my favorite guitar but I do feel it's underappreciated, and was the basis for control layouts for every electric I've built since

Here's hoping it's a 30" scale. I missed out on the Jazzmaster baritone and the few I see online are WAY too expensive

That Jazz-Strat is pretty fine looking. The parallel universe line is my favourite thing they've done in probably a decade (the last thing they made that I want is a Roscoe Beck bass), before this you would have to go to Warmoth et al if you wanted an oddball Fender mash-up but now you can buy one for less than a million doolahs and in this day and age you'll be getting pretty decent QC to boot.

Yeah I don't like all of these guitars but I love that they're doing stuff that's different instead of a million variants of strat!

The Squier mini HH Jazzmaster leaked and then disappeared. If it comes out and it’s typical $150 any day of the week, that could be a fun impulse guitar to mod.

Cool that they've remade CuNiFe wide range humbuckers for the American Original Telecaster Custom - hope lots of people buy them so they might reissue the Ranaldo Jazzblaster or even just a Telecaster Deluxe with those.

This custom shop Marauder looks incredible and has a built in delay:

are they working with one of those "boutique" offset builders like fano or are they just riffing on their ideas?
edit: o shit i guess old marauders looked like that?

Yeah according to the article this is what the original prototypes looked like, but they never went into production
