Re: The Video Game thread
I love the Earthbound series, but I also loved Super Mario RPG ;D I don't really care for any of the new Final Fantasy series. After 6...eh.... Well, aside from FF Tactics. Screw that Advanced shit, though. Tactics Ogre and Shining Force, bitches D;<

Re: The Video Game thread
I really enjoyed every FF after 6, but yes... it seems they NEED to change or 'evolve' the game mechanics, and that jRPG feeling has totally disappeared. That's why i love dragon quest series. They are always charming, funny, and have been the same since the first one. Not to mention mr toriyama's monster designs, which i love

The Dragon Quest series is really great. I also really enjoyed Chrono Trigger.

Re: The Video Game thread
My only huge gripe with Chrono Trigger is that it's just so short. That game came out when I was a little kid, and well..I never really went outside, so all I did was play video games. The game being so short sorta killed my buzz with it. Doing everything in the game, even getting the rainbow shit, and beating it, takes about 5 or 6 hours tops if you've played through it once. If you've never played through it, maybe 10 hours? It had replay value because of the different endings, but eh. I played and own the SNES one, but never touched the PSX version. I heard it had Lunar quality anime scenes. Jesus Christ D;
Chrono Cross, though..god, that sucked D;
