it's just an excuse to get a spooky tattoo even though it's not actually halloween. i intended to get the cat silhouette with the hollow 13 in it. probably behind one of my ears (which is stupid, but i already have one of my hands done and want the other done soon lol.

i got some ideas for my triceps bouncing around. but i wanna leave room for a few more pieces then filler on my arms AFTER i fill in the a bit more of the rest of my body.

that being said. i have the start of a bitchin' desert scene on the side of my calf but if i can't get the original artist to get back to me on it. i'm gonna find someone else to finish it. as distasteful as that can be

Yeah I'm pretty happy with it It's def gonna need a touch up, as it's a bit crooked in places (was done by an apprentice) and I'm thinking of adding some more stuff to it in the future, maybe an orchid. It goes around like this:

I'd really like some really solid blackwork like yours actual but weirdly I find it a bigger commitment than a more intricate tattoo because it's so boldly writing off a piece of skin.

made an appointment for a couple touch ups and to get a new design from my main blackwork artist next week. i'm also making plans with one of the artists who does my traditional stuff for a chest piece. i also kinda want him to redo the lines on my snake vs. eagle sailor jerry tattoo. coz now that it's mostly healed there are lines that are FUCKED and missing color in some spots. i'm never going back to what was my main shop after how fucked that one turned out. also somehow a really shitty head for the raven on my lady's head slipped through the cracks... this is two different artists from the same shop too. i'm already considering blacking out the head or covering it up somehow with a somewhat better head or something to just hide how fucking stupidly goofy it looks (to me).

Yeah, that's funny, cause I feel the opposite way. I think it's cause it's just like a piece of black, with no symbolism or meaning behind it.
