Right before going to sleep, my girlfriend mentioned there was an awful shooting in Texas today.
God I hate guns and gun culture in America, and specifically the south, and specifically Texas.
A gun is a tool designed to kill things.
It is not a toy or a lifestyle choice.
Everyone is so afraid of Obama taking their fucking guns.
But there seriously needs to be stricter guidelines for people to get guns.
I wish no one could have them but that's not happening.
I'd settle for psychological evaluations for everyone wanting a gun.

Meteorologists.
Fuck you.
Can you seriously not make an even slightly accurate forecast 12 hours in advance?

Well in Canada there aren't a lot of guns, but we have a lot more stabbings and shit.
People are terrible.

I'm semi-anti-gun, but not because I think it would actually decrease violence at all. I just think that if you are going to commit violence you should have to live with having had the physical blood on your hands.

What about violence against ghosts and other phantasmagoria?

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/vi ... Steps-DownThis is the pettiest shit ever, yeah lets harass and make a CEO resign for having contrasting views - because that's progression in society.
No rational person is against equality... and there's a major difference between wanting equality and being a SJW. I want people to be happy but I don't see that harassing people is how you should be proving your point.

There are valid viewpoints that I disagree with, then there's donating to a campaign that is only discriminatory.
He's free to do whatever he wants, but that doesn't mean he should be able to do it in a vacuum. Fuck that guy.

Thing is though, mozilla is a free software community not a traditional corporation. So if most of your developers don't want this guy as the ceo they actually have more of a right to complain then in a business corporation.
But that guy can eat shit.

Yeah, supporting a campaign that is only discriminatory is hardly a great thing to do.
And where in the article did it say anyone harassed him? Seems to me like it was a decision made by the company and/or him, as is their right.

not looking forward to another weekend with nothing to do and nobody to do it with. my life is really lonely right now...the only people i ever see here are people that i work with. i play but looping inherently becomes repetitive. i sleep way too much, and spend a lot of non-sleep time in bed being confused and afraid. it's not good. i'm all agoraphobic/people-phobic so that it's almost impossible for me to go out to the grocery store. it's only my cat that keeps me going.

Spend all my time working. Wife is a stay at home mom who also suffers from depression. So when I finally do have a day off, she doesn't want to go anywhere, but doesn't want me to leave her home alone with the baby cause I don't get much time off. Can't find a drummer, so my musical project is going nowhere. Failing both classes because I don't have time for work and school.
Generally feeling shitty.
