I did a 7" for the dude from USX
and some tour posters for my old band
and a tape cover for the band they toured with. Crowley reference was deliberate.

Took a try actually drawing something instead of my usual glitch/collage style and did the artwork for an ambient dance music album I'm working on

"Sleeping on the (Dance) Floor"

I believe I have firmly cemented myself as the greatest artist that has ever existed in the entire history of the universe's history.

so I've been spending much of my artistic time trying to slowly rehabilitate my right hand. Back when I couldn't draw at all without it actually hurting, I started to teach myself to use my left. Now my life has taken a strange turn in that I can draw almost as well with my left as my right, it's much more comfortable, and even faster. Life is weird sometimes.
This was my first attempt at a big, "complete" piece with my left hand, though some parts were done with the right. Shocked myself.
The scene is of the battle the Hindu gods and goddesses (in this case I depicted the Matrikas) had with a demon who could clone itself when it's blood touched the ground. Kali sprung from Durga's third eye (or in some versions Durga herself changed into Kali) and defeated the demon by drinking its blood. Then her bloodlust grew out of control and she was in danger of destroying the world, so Shiva, her husband, lies down in the battlefield, and when she steps on him, she realizes what she's done and sticks her tongue out in shame. Some interpretations also say the extended tongue is lapping the blood.
A little vague and brief mythology for you.

Thanks so much. It's been a grueling endeavor, I won't lie. The fact that I used a brush pen covers up the somewhat shaky lines. My left still doesn't always make the marks I tell it to, so the bold lines cover the slop somewhat, haha.

gunslinger, love it and that's very impressive. I can't do much with my left artwise but maybe painting large areas a single color.

Thank you

The right has been getting ever so slightly better..... This last week or two I've been trying to spend equal time with each hand.

when I do things like that with working both hands it's more so in drumming and actually trying to play guitar. my scribblings with my left hand are sadness. sometimes they work into something neat for paintings as a sketch but not strong enough for a finalized ink.

I was actually ambidextrous as a kid but my catholic primary school beat it out of me. So I draw and write left handed but do everything (YES EVERYTHING) else right handed. It's so weird.
Anyway I munged up both my hands in a bicycle crash a couple weeks ago so drawing and playing guitar hurts right now.

^^^^Suck city. Hope your hands heal quick.
My "goal" through learning with my left, is to be able to draw as equally as possible with both hands, so I can work faster and longer. I don't know how many of you have drawn comics, but when they inspiration hits, it's hard to stop outlining pages.... it would be nice to be able to complete them faster so I don't lose my train of thought, or my "flow," as it were.
