That's my 7pm breakfast.
...brethren...I like to also throw like 4 eggs in there...and a bunch of fried wong tong crackers...

Pretty excited to eat dinner tonight.

Just found out about a subsidized farmer's market produce share thingy in my neighborhood. Came home with a box of yellow potatoes, red onions, green peppers, tomato, celery, and some nice-smelling nectarines. What should I make?

Don't mix the nectarines with the other ingredients. Eat the nectarines for dessert.

Heh. I'm thinking about putting a couple of those with some leftover white rum.
The plum gin I was fretting about earlier turned out fine by the way, shit was delicious as hell. Didn't make any cocktails with it, just drank it on ice.

That sounds like a good summertime beverage.
Yeah, I love the farmer's markets. Good eats during growin' season. I've still got some collard greens and kale to cook sometime this week.

OK, I just tried this. Not sure I'm that impressed.
I think I "overcooked" it a bit. Will go for slightly more al dente the next time. We'll see if I like it any better then.
